Not for long. The % of people against gay marriage has been eroding significantly in recent years.

To be perfectly blunt... younger people are more educated and don't have the ignorant biases of older generations.

70% of australians are for marriage equality. Yet we still don't have it anywhere here. You want to know why? Because the Prime Minister is catholic. A conservative Catholic at that who denies his own sister the right to marry her partner.

because most the human are not homosexaul (gays or lesbiens) , so they are odd/few ,in the humanity .

let's suppose that a gay or a lesbien want to back normal , i mean man (gay) want the woman , and woman (lesbien) want the man .why he/she suppose to do ?

let's suppose that your wife get in this problem ,and become a lesbien , what you will do ?
let's suppose that your husband become gay ? what you will do ?

I would double check if we both understand marriage is about a union of souls, united by love. I don't think it can happen with a proper effort for unity, marriage provides a lot of comfortable luxury to emotions that you cannot get anywhere else. I would not address the issue directly, but just check if both of us are properly faithful, then hope the problem goes away just like that. Really people in their mind and heart are hard to reach the resolve that this one person is the only one for them, no matter that they are already married formally.

That is very interesting, because for all I know you may be exactly right. Asexuality tends not to be a choice.

Sexuality is rarely a choice. We can't even choose to be attracted by specific people; it just happens that way.




The physical act is certainly possible. The feeling and the confort will only be there in fringe situations.

Think about this: a lot of men and women are certainly capable of having sexual relations with each other, with various degrees or confort and pleasure. But in many cases that will be rather unpleasant, even violently invasive, or at least objectifying.

When it comes to sexual compatibility, the feelings and attractions of the people involved are very much a chief consideration.

And very few people, LGBT or otherwise, have any degree of significant control over those, far as I can tell.

I believe homosexaul people could had choice to make relation with other gender .

You don't think God created LGBT people? How else could they exist then? Do you think LGBT is in some sense a challenge to God's will? Or even outright sin, perhaps?

Some Christian LGBTs have felt that way. That has never turned out to be a good idea. It brought lots of pointless, often destructive angst over them, leading to not a few suicides even.

No, Godobeyer. People do not choose who they are attracted to. Not even heterosexuals truly have that choice.

I believe God had them choice to decide .

I believe there are factures which lead them to be like that .but in the end it their choice

Between us, we have had 13 children. Only four survived to birth. All were Doug's children. But we now have a bunch of grandchildren.

I know I said I would talk about children and procreation in my next reply. But that is a big task. I will still do that. But an easier task occurred to me so I am asking you a different question for now.

Suppose a guy(let's call him Muhammad since that is the most common name for human males) was a straight guy who married his favorite girl. They had 4 children and raised them well.
When Muhammad was about 50 y/o his children were all married. His youngest daughter had 2 babies. Then his wife got cancer and died.

He is still a virile man who likes sex. He loves playing with the grandchildren, but is relieved to have the responsibility of child rearing behind him. He loves doting on and spoiling the little ones. But he doesn't want any more of his own.

Muhammad could take some medicine that would make him gay. He could then enjoy all the sex he wants without any more children. What he doesn't want is to get involved with a woman who does want to be a mother.

Should he take some medicine that would make him homosexual? If not, why not?

Same sex relationship have been happening since before christianity was established. Christianity made it abnormal.

We plan on either adopting children to give them a good home, or I will undergo a procedure that will allow me to use the sperm of a suitable donor to get pregnant.

I will work full time once I qualify in psychology and she will work part time to help raise the children without too much use of day care. If we cannot have children we will help local shelters with finding new homes for abandoned cats and dogs.

What are you talking about? Women do not have to accept a man just because he wants to be accepted. It is up tot he woman to decide what she wants.

A woman does not have to have children. Not all women have the patience or the desire to raise a child. Children require committment and a lot of love to give.

No. Women in the West are free to choose their sexual partners. Lesbians don't reject men, they just love other women. You see, we do not regard women as helpmates of men that have no individual identity or social status apart from men. If they want to choose other women as their romantic or sexual partners, they are free to do so. And men are free to accept other men as partners.

Sure. Women reject men all the time, even when they are hetero women.

We are actually rather insecure about our attractiveness to women, often with very good reason.
