The Sum of Awe
Brought to you by the moment that spacetime began.
I called a fake Apple Support number that I found online and the guy told me to buy two eBay cards and max them out at 200$ each and had me send him the codes on the back and on the receipt. (Yes, I already know I’m an idiot for falling for such a lazy scam).
I called Capitol One, the credit card company I payed for the eBay cards with, and they said they can Dispute the Charge when the charge is done Trending and has been Posted (3–5 days) but there is no guarantee I can get a refund.
I asked Walgreens (where I bought the cards from) if I can get a refund for my purchase and they declined. So if the credit card company gets ahold of them and gets information from them, wouldn’t they decline them also if they declined me?
Should I just try to use the eBay cards before the other guy does? Should I wait it out and see if I get a refund? Is there anything else I can do?
I tried calling eBay for support but it seems like I need an account to call them and I don’t have one.
