How did Satan get to the garden of Eden?

Satan doesn't exist! The Garden of Eden did not exist and has no meaning for us as a metaphor other than how misanthropic the writers about it were!

To be IGNORING humankind is to be misanthropic. To be ENSLAVING them is to be misanthropic.

To be defining humankind is love, isn't it?

Satan does exist, but not in a way an atheist could possibly understand.

It should be remembered that skepticism and naturalism is just that, the world around us. Theists are skeptical of atheists, and atheists are skeptical of theists, the thing is, is that both sides are natural in apprehension and structure.

Satan exists as the opposition, as I am opposing this very statement of yours, some would say that I am actually being a Satan.

As for there being no meaning for us to use as a metaphor, well thats just nonsense. We can use everything as a metaphor, just because it naturally lacks meaning to you, doesn't mean it naturally lacks meaning to anyone else

Neither does the dodo bird today. However, It did at one time.
However, because he is a created being of/for another place which was casted out doesn't mean he has to be visible to our eyes. His presence has been acknowledged in many an adverse way by many.

There was no "hatred for mankind" in the Creation narrative by the GOD who made all things or the writer who expressed the narrative which was revealed by that GOD to him. All the hatred was expressed by those who were created. (Satan and the deceived mankind who accepted the lie rather than the truth.)
