Not is NOT and has nothing to do with being gay. The plane was named after his MOTHER, Enola Gay Haggard.

Now if you want to contemplate the naming of such a plane (whose purpose he well knew when he chose the name) after a mother - that might bring some sobering thoughts.

But reflections on homosexuality would not be among them.
