The earth is a cold fused mass first no heavens as it's position one in natural cosmic space law.
Cosmic law said human science is position one only.
Which tells a human storyteller your position science scientist theist about earth is fake.
One hundred percent fake.
You get electricity yourself by burning up destroying a huge earth natural body of cold mass to invent electricity.
As electricity compared to energy as power is minimal. You hence destroy energy to get electricity as invented direct to machine. Earth isn't a machine.
So science theories wind power is safer. Water power is safe. Thermal earth release is safe.

Lightning strikes the ground earth mass that is denser than lightning so it can absorb the attack as if it hadn't existed is earth science wisdom.

That assumes the conversion to electric vehicles outpaces the conversion of electricity generation. But if the UK experience is anything to go by, electricity generation will be converted faster than the growth in electric vehicles. 10% of new car sales are now electric, but the car population remains <5% electric, whereas electricity generation is already around 30% renewable.
I notice a bit of a myth being spread about in the USA that it's a waste of time buying an electric vehicle because the electricity you run it on comes from fossil fuel. So it's good to learn from you that, even in the US, 40% of the electricity is already from non-fossil fuel sources.

The main drivers of climate change are higher CO2 and methane gas levels, along with fewer trees to absorb the former. Unfortunately, the northern ice cap is melting at an alarming rate, much fast than what was even predicted a decade ago, and yet all we do is to argue about the politics over this. It's sorta like someone standing on a railroad track with a train bearing down and not being able to decide whether to go left or right.

Positive goes out away from the generator; it does its work (Make Toast) then it comes back Negative to the power source and sent to ground as one big circuit! IF....

metis you are wrong....Ice is melting from the bottom! These big glaciers (rivers of ice) are sliding on a thin layer of water and breaking off in the ocean; thus the oceans are rising! The heat is coming from beneath them from the ground!
