George W. Bush condemns Trump-era America: 'Bigotry seems emboldened'

When Junior is calling you dumb, you have got a problem.
"W" was Trump, before Trump became "Trump". He fit all the negative attributes, to a "T", that he was sanctimoniously trying to paint Trump with. He and his handler Carl Rove invented the systematic lying, slandering, muck-raking, bickering, "king-baby" presidency! And now he's slamming Trump for being even better (or worse) at it than he was???

What a human turd!

One thing is for sure we haven't had as many cities burning as with the emboldening of the Obama era.

George W. Bush is being a bold hypocrite. He's one of the main culprits responsible for hundreds of thousands of needless deaths and some of the most atrocious war crimes in the 21st century. Not even Trump has caused murder on such a scale.

It seems to me that it's just another sign of the decline of the U.S. when someone who should now be in jail for war crimes is speaking as if his words were worth anything.

Yeah, Obama really juiced up the racists. And the republican party (and the media) did everything it could to exploit that racism for their own gain. "W" and Trump aren't the only 'human turds' fueling this political abyss.

Well, there is apparently no love lost between the Bush family and Trump. Especially since Jebs treatment by Trump during the debates. My guess is that George W voted for Hillary. (Disclaimer) I could very well be wrong.

The article itself said Bush had said nothing specifically about Trump himself.

He didn't have do, the subject matter of his speech made it clear to what he was referring to. If you want to wallow in willful ignorance then that's your prerogative, but don't be tossing insults around just because others would rather pay attention to what's actually going on in the world.

This shows how much the right has degenerated. Sad.
