Does anyone feel like this is normal or acceptable?

Skanky Old Mongrel!
You claimed you're really against extreme materialism, but
you still don't use that term. Instead, it's capitalism in general
you criticize, not even specific policies. This certainly appears
to be racism against capitalism.
Racism against capitalism.................

It's like someone who continually rails against blacks being
lazy & criminals. If one is against sloth & crime, one should
rail against that, since it stems from all races. So the focus
being solely upon black folks points to hostility towards them.
Truly amazing analogies.
Amazing..........
You would have been more accurate if you'd used 'Perch fishermen campaigning against whale hunting..... '

But it did make me smile.

If you want to demonize capitalism by pointing to suspected crime,
this fails because you don't compare it to crimes occurring under
alternative systems. It's not an argument....it's complaining.
This is why the emergent properties of competing systems must
be compared.
You wanted ideas, not dancing!
A very very good idea would be to winkle out billions being salted away in offshore accounts.
You're not getting worried, are you? :p

Look........ you want an idea or a dance? Badgers can do both.

You might've noticed that after a recent altercation involving
bogus accusations of racism, an outraged poster, & poofed posts,
the misapplied "racism" meme has become great sport & mirth.

And I admit to racism too. Join me in being racist
towards the prince of darkness.....Lucas Electric.

Brits hide money offshore....meh.
That's not really a problem here.
Btw, did you know that socialist
leaders have done the same?
Crime is a problem in all systems.

Huh? Wot?
Even Republican Capitalist America does something for the needy. Not much, but something.
I've told you...... Socialism is a part of moderate capitalism.
If one cannot examine them separately, imagine the
trouble you'd have with partial differential equations.

"greedy and cling to their materialism in some kind of insecure desperation."
"extreme capitalists are so frightened of it that they throw the 'commie' brick at the moderates."
"fat cats moan about their tax oppression etc?"
"soup line
"
Good.
You're learning.
Now just remember what you learned today.

Yes!
Indeed.
Think of a religion, political group, sport, health service, profession, trade or club, and you'll find thieves and fraudsters within.

Maybe you noticed hlow I would use investigators in any search for criminal funds?

A system has to watch itself. Ours both do, at any rate.

God Bless me, Revolting.
Is there nothing on telly that you want to watch?
Don't tell me you can't afford a telly.

Of course left and right could be researched and scrutinised with partial differential comparisons........ they are interlinked. Sometimes we get 'mid-ground' leaders, but I have a feeling that a seriously left-leaning politician could gain power here, and my Missus wants to vote for him, so he must be alright.

I already knew you were into emotive hyperbole.
You need not keep posting it.
Did you study the definition of "rant"?
We could move on to "rage" next.
Hyperbole?
Wake up!
An offshore tax haven is simply a place—be it a country, state, or territory—with relaxed tax laws (usually either no income tax at all, or tax at much reduced rates). Multinational companies establish subsidiaries in offshore tax havens to avoid paying the 35% corporate tax in the U.S.

Odd query, but I'll bite.
I have a TV.
I watch it.

Women....the worst mistake we ever made was letting them vote.

Hey, if'n ya can't win one argument, start a new one.
If there's no segue, it'll seem like a continuation.

Btw, that really should be spelled "segway", but when
English borrows words (Italian, in this case) we don't
gets no proper fonetisization.

Ha. When I first heard the word used to describe a
sudden change of direction, I thought the word
came from that two wheel thing. :D

Citizens United was not about a corporation (as in profit generating). It started as a case about a non-profit NGO putting out an ad about Hillary in 2008. The case rendered the Campaign Reform Act unconstitutional. The ruling includes unions which fund Dems.

While perhaps technically true, I find your summary misleading. The main outcome of this ruling ha been to allow corporations to make huge contributions to political campaigns, and more or less "buy" politicians.
