Do you think this is all:

One random day we become conscious, in a human body with no memory of the past events, in what we currently know as a \universe\galaxy\planet orbiting a star.

Do you think this is all:
a game?
VR world that's not a game?
prison?
Random thing with no reason whatsoever?
Some evil god's creation?

The reality is we are still in a larval stage after emerging from the primordial ooze, our reality is just a dream meant to keep our minds occupied while we lay dormant in our larval cocoons.

Don't think much of it at all, it can only be to me as is perceived by me.

Hell, maybe it is a game...
A crappy game with a stupid story line, it's too freeworld, has too many alternate endings, AI could be better and it should have been a third person cinematic.

Yes it all a game, not to be taken too serious, we are all mind body organisms programmed and conditioned, and this is what we play our game with, sometimes the game doesn't go the way we want because of our conditioning, and sometimes it doesn't go the way we want, because it goes against our conditioning.

As You Like It, Act II, Scene VII - William Shakespeare

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first, the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms.
Then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

pretty much covers it IMHO

Everything is a blanket of consciousness with an infinite number of strands.

Our temporary flesh suit is the token required to play in this game. The majority of us have our minds wiped clean because it would be impossible to play the game. As for a prison,well, yes it can be if you choose it so. Their is an order although it doesn't seem so. Again, it is if you want it thus.

When this is understood then enlightenment arrives.
