Democrats drift into Marxism. Why?

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Yep, the democrats are center right by global standards.
U.S. conservatives use "marxism", "socialism", "communism", etc. to refer to anything they either don't like or understand. They don't deserve to be taken seriously.
Not when the US is rapidly plummeting down the freedom index it isn't.

I know, right? What with the opposition to LGBT rights, reproductive rights, cannabis legalization, library books, etc.

Did i say get rid of the military? No. Just stop funding them as much do we really need to spend trillions each year on the military? We could still spend money on the military just move a lot of that money to other things as well.
OK.
"Defund" suggested no funding.
That would mean no military.

I was using the term many use to describe moving resources elsewhere like when they say defund the police. It's a bit of a misnomer. They dont really want to refund them just move resources elsewhere
I often wonder what people really mean.
So many "flexible" terms.

Let's see. Last Republican governor of good ole Cali was Arnold. Right?

That was when? Way back in 2003 to 2007?
Several states at least are like that. It's partly why our current two party system is generally not competitive and highly predictable. Such as, Indiana hasn't voted for a Dem governor since Frank O'Bannon's last election back in 2000.
Then there was the intentional banning of Republicans names on the election ballot as well if I recall.....
No, it was removing anyone from the ballot who doesn't disclose their taxes, and just from the primary.

I mention them all the time. Particularly states rights.
When individual states started legalizing gay marriage (before it was legalized nationwide) republicans tried to ban it at the federal level. Same with cannabis. Republicans are always the ones trying to block individual states from legalizing it.

Speaking of rights. It's very interesting that you wept over plastic shopping bags, but not over women's uteruses. What should we glean from this?
