6 or more drinks in one sitting.
I'd need to do some serious training to do something that stupid.

I used to be able to keep up with the Danes.

Wouldn't want to, now.

When I was young I would routinely have more than six drinks in one sitting

There is no way I could do that now and neither would I want to :beermug::beermug::beermug::beermug::beermug::beermug:

It's good to see that the United Kingdom is in the top three!

It is good that we are good at something

For you personally or in general?
In general. Where I am, or at least in Yorkshire where I grew up for a long period, 6 drinks seems fairly standard for get-togethers. People in the UK tend to get absolutely plastered when we drink, otherwise we don't see a point. Not sure if this has been your experience here.

That has been my experience too

When I was at university I would drink stupid amounts, looking back I have no idea how I did it

But I think age is a factor too, now that I'm 40 I would never have more than three pints and I now drink them much more slowly too

When I feel the onset of drunkenness I stop

I got drunk once (in college).
That experience was enuf to avoid ever doing it again.
I've seen what excessive drinking does to people.
6 drinks in one sitting is sickness.
Even when sitting in a wonderful German beer garden,
I found a single beer to be plenty. (I wasn't driving.)

It is an important question to ask, IMO. I don't mean to be disrespectful to you personally....
I don't drink that much and if I do I tend to stop at 2 or 3. It's not good for you and it's expensive.

I once got seriously hammered on vodka and orange

Because of this I developed an aversion to orange juice

Couldn't bare to drink it at all for more than ten years

I still find it a bit yucky

I don't think it was the orange juice that did the damage
