Devotthani Ekadashi and Tulsi Vivaha today and Kartik Snana on 14th (big day). Again people go to river fronts and water bodies for bathing.

No one who benefits like Shani when pleased and no one who punishes like Shani when displeased. The most feared God in Puranic Hinduism, son of Sun and Chhaya, elder brother of Yama. They say Shani dispenses justice in this life, Yama after this life. What he hahs in hand is a cutting weapon to lop of heads of evil doers (I do not know the name), a spear with a cutting tool like a crescent at the top. No standard iconography, a bow and arrow are a must. The other things could be trishul, spear in various shapes, sword, mace, goad, etc. (that has been left to the sculptor :)).

Vanakkam,

Please kindly stop spamming link to your website/blog, you are welcome to a normal discussion on the avatars of Mahadev or the benevolence of Ravan or the types of incenses if you want, but if you don't stop spamming links like that we may think you are an adbot or a person only interested in drawing traffic to your website.

The Mother holding red lotuses in all her hands (22 in all)! :)
Well, I can't complain. In whatever way a devotee visualizes the deity.
