Congratulations, President-elect Biden

It is looking pretty grim for Trump.

One reason that Democrats so often "win elections late" is that high population centers tend to be Democratic. Areas of high population take more time to count ballots than areas of low population The areas not counted are those of higher population densities and that is why Trump's numbers keep falling.

So are Biden's current numbers reflecting the west coast? I can't watch current states on the news, it gives me ulcers. lol

The west coast is Biden/s Well except for Alaska, that is probably Trump's. There are about four or five undecided sates right now according to the AP. With the exception of Alaska, Biden winning any one of them gives him the Presidency.

In other words it is looking pretty grim for the Trumpster (rhymes with Dumpster).

I am watching FOX for kicks right now and even they said that there is no evidence for the lawsuits that Trump is bringing on "voter fraud".

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I find that much more comforting than 21st century conservative dictatorship in the form of Trump.
Whats a Trump dictatorship compared to Bidens updated and ready to go 21st century authoritarianism? Ya got it in the bag for sure.

As of this writing, Biden is not the official or unofficial victor of the 2020 presidential race. That said, reading the tea leaves, it appears that he will win.

I voted for Trump, but I offer my congratulations to Biden in this hard fought race. The people have spoken, and you, sir, are now president of the greatest nation on earth (apologies to the non-American posters). As you prepare to take office, I implore you to please consider the following:

1. The nation is hurting. We have seen riots. We have seen friends bitterly end decades long relationships because of political differences. We have seen businesses boarding up their stores in fear of devastation. Pease stop the madness. We are not a third world country to be ruled by chaos.

2. Keep in mind that you prevailed by only a razor thin margin. On the campaign trail you frequently promised to be the American president, not the Democrats’ president. Someone who represents all of the country. I ask that you fulfill this promise. Don’t be swayed by the far left. AOC, the squad, and their cohorts will bankrupt and destroy this country with their unsupportable socialist thinking. Half this country unquestionably rejects their position. You, Pelosi, and other a democratic leaders need to stop this tide moving to the extreme far left. Take back control of your party.

3. Trump made significant inroads with the working class with his put America first message. I hope you will do the same. While it is inevitable that this great nation play a key role on the global front, never forget from whence you came — the United States of America. Do not be ashamed to put the country’s needs first. Your priority is to the United States, not the world.

There’s so much more I wish to say, but I’ll stop for now. Again, congratulations. I wish you the nest of health and the best success. Don’t just keep America great. Make it better.
Thank you. As John Kerry said in his concession speech: in America, no one loses an election. We are all winners if we respect the democratic process and realize the job of elected officials is to serve all Americans, including those who voted against you.

You’re welcome! I have a strong belief in the process. I know I probably come off as extreme right around here, but I truly consider myself a moderate. I’ve voted for Dems, I’ve voted for Republicans. I love that Scalia and Ginsberg were friends. I love that Biden and McCain were friends. We can be fiercely opposed politically, but you’re right: We are all winners if we respect the process.

For what it’s worth, I never thought you came across as extreme right. It seems a fair amount of your energy on the political forums is spent defending Trump, which always mystified me, to be honest. But clearly your OP shows you do believe in the democratic process, win or lose, and that is something we share. I never denied Trump won in 2016 or that he was our President.

I trust that you have similar advice for Mitch McConnell in his role as (presumptive) Senate majority leader: remember that you took the Senate only by a razor-thin margin, don't be swayed by the far right, govern on behalf ofvall of the American people...

... right?

Of course. Maybe now government can actually govern.
