For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:11

I do not doubt that The Holy Spirit ever dwelled in you, but I know that once being together does not mean always being together.
An understatement for sure.
It teaches me not to trust myself in the important business of TRUTH.
Not true! You disagree with what is written. You think you agree. I am telling you that you don't agree with what was written. You make it based on one thing---I disagree with you.
I agree with you, but I think that you trust the written words as though they are the same as trusting יְ֭הוָThat is what al knowledgeable Christians---Prov 3:5
I'm going to poke my nose in here for fun.
The scripture in this instance came from within the people who wrote them.
This presents an interesting idea.
If the words written down were inspired (meaning they came from within) then what is more important, the words they wrote down which can now be corrupted or where the knowledge came from?
Within.
he bible can't be trusted because it is corruptible.
What is not corruptible is the knowledge within.
All understanding comes from within.
Inspiration is such a wonderful thing!
I am asking how you know that "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God" isn't someone else's opinion.
It is because you do not want it to be anything else ie YOUR opinion.
This is really simple, folks.
If you trust what is written as though it is from God but it was changed to reflect the opinion of the writer, copyist, translator, etc, then you are trusting in your own opinion of what it means and the very book you say is, "the very words of God" says NOT to do that.
So, why not tell us dummies why you do that?
Eh? T text parallels the belief, not informs it.
This doesn't mean that the text isn't Divine.
There is different types of divinity in the text.
You are making the mistake of thinking that the book itself is an idol
What does this mean? You are making the mistake of thinking that the book itself is an idol
Catch up. Will you?Right. That is common mistake unbelievers make trying to show we are not following the Bible.
Catch up. Will you?
I am a believer.
I am trying to show that you ARE following the Bible and therefore you CAN'T also be following The Spirit of God.
Even if every word was a reflection of the Spirit of God, that wouldn't mean what was heard even applies to YOU. It is obvious that what was heard applied to the hearer. You and the hearer are different.
Did I say worship? You may be a believer, but Christians do not worship the Bible.
Are you saying that the Bible IS The Spirit of God?That is no Biblical.
I don't know what to say.The whole Bible is for all believers.
You do because I looked up "worship". If you understand something different about what it means to worship, please share it.Christians do not worship the Bible.
I thought of something to say. There are believers who are very young. Is all the Bible for them? The whole Bible is for all believers.
I am going to have fun or i won't do it.Glad you jumped in. Now let me poke some fun at you. Opinions are like arm pits. Everyone has 2 of them and the both stink. How do you know that verse is from within?
Anything written down is subject to corruption. The Bible can't be corrupted, Men's interpretations can be corrupted.
I am suggesting that the only valid source of knowledge comes from within (Aka the breath of God, that which is called the soul and spirit of man).ArE you really suggesting that what eve someone thinks inside themselves it can''t be wrong.
I apologize for the misunderstanding it was not meant to be sarcasm.Sarcasm is a wondeful tool, when it is used correctly. You still have ways o go.
Did I say worship?
Are you saying that the Bible IS The Spirit of God?
I am very aware that I can't be following TWO leaders. Just one. I choose God. YOU choose something else.
I don't know what to say.
You do because I looked up "worship". If you understand something different about what it means to worship, please share it.
I thought of something to say. There are believers who are very young. Is all the Bible for them?
There are some believers who have conquered the wicked one. Is all the Bible for them?
