Dharmapala
After putting some great thought into it, and after much struggle, I've decided to change schools, from Zen to a combination Nichiren/Tientai. The struggles of life: a job, three kids, two of whom are autistic, and one being an infant, regular home life, etc.-has left it nearly impossible to find the time and place for zazen and Zen practice. I've found that it's been much easier to read, recite, contemplate, study, and practice the Lotus Sutra and daimoku. Hopefully, this will bring me closer to the goal, and be a bit easier to do so.
EDIT: And for those who are wondering, I don't take much inspiration from the more 'fundamentalist' schools of Nichiren: Nichiren Shoshu and Soka Gakkai. When it comes to Nichiren schools, I take inspiration from the more moderate Nichiren Shu and Rissho Kosei Kai.
