Perhaps I knew this was coming that I would eventually accept evolution so perhaps that's why I posted threads saying that I reject evolution in one last ditch effort to keep my rejection alive. I do accept it now and I guess that's what life's all about growth and change.

I don't know exactly what's going on with you, but it sounds like you learn a lot and fast and your ideas evolve so you're possibly doing better than any of us.

It's very rare that someone will admit in public that he's changed his mind based on what he's learned. You have my applause.

Do you think there is any particular thing that might have made you decide so?

    Congratulations.
It is important to be aware that accepting science does not mean abandoning religious faith. Here is one man’s synthesis of the two things: The Christian Man's Evolution: How Darwinism and Faith Can Coexist

I have also argued things which I subsequently have changed my mind about. Forums like this can be a good way to learn new things,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sometime good and sometimes not.
I remember arguing young earth creationism a long time ago and now can see that the Bible can accommodate evolution.
Too much cognitive dissonance is not good to live with.

Now you've gone too far to the other side. "What life's all about" is a religious, not a scientific question.:p
