Menards has no sale flyer this week.
Such a thing has never before been seen!
I assume that it's to keep store traffic down.
Or it's to keep me in particular away.

If you shop at another store, you'll still be lost without that 11 percent rebate.

I'd say: Door #1 Menards, JoAnn Fabrics navigate restricted business operations

"Menards, and other similar home improvement stores, are only allowed to supply goods to the general public that are “necessary to maintain and improve the safety, sanitation and essential operations of a residence,” and should have as few employees as needed to support those sales."

A local supermarket that I shop at frequently, has on-line shopping. Problem is, when I go to check out:
    • Curb-side delivery is booked for a week and no beyond-a-week option is available, which really wouldn't be a problem for me, because I find it difficult to think that far ahead anyway.
    • Delivery to my door option never seems to be available, for some un-explained reason.
    • Only other option is "in-store" shopping, which makes on-line shopping unavailable. o
Waited in line to get into the store which nearly killed me. I need to get a three-legged stool or a portable wheel-chair or find one of the "least-likely-to-be-a criminal" neighbors to do my shopping for me.
If I wasn't such a flakey driver and health-fragile ol' fart, I'd apply to the store to become a "delivery-to-the-door" driver just so I could buy my own groceries with less hassle.

At this point, I'm almost tempted to by some neighbor kid a used car just to do my shopping for me and arrange to take a portion of his/her earnings from delivering to reimburse me for the car.
    Whaddya think?

    Yo', @Shadow Wolf ...
    How are you holding up?
Whaddya think about the "ol' farts'" issues that I briefly mention above?
Do ya think there's a viable living to be made by an otherwise-unemployed trust-worthy human with a driver's license in shopping and delivery services? If so, at what cost to a customer, especially one of several that a driver would shop for?

My brother in law is schizophrenic and to save the onslaught of visiting supermarkets for his grocery shopping he has always paid a couple of pounds extra each week for his order to be delivered to his door.

An order arrived yesterday so he went online today to purchase for next week. Selected his needs, went to select his delivery slot... Every slot booked until mid August?

How do people know want to eat 5 months in the future

    I hear ya.
The last three shopping trips I made exhausted me mightily and nearly killed me. I told my wife that I didn't have the wherewithal to handle too many more of them and that she needs to find a boyfriend in better shape than I am to do our shopping for us. Neither she nor our dog are of any use when it comes to shopping and we don't have kids. Going to have to find someone outside our family unit to pick up the slack for us. My kin don't live near enough to us, and hell will freeze over before I put myself at the mercy of my wife's kin.

And how peed off will you be if she finds a young, fit boyfriend/gofer? Is it worth it?

    This is a standard pallet....
I have both the most standard size (40"x48")
& custom sizes, both larger & smaller.

Let me help, just in case you meant something else....

If you ever get the chance, try it at a good Korean eatery.
It is glorious! But it's not appropriate for hot weather,
    unless you're keen on sweating.

Hmmm, ... groceries with or without the hassle? That's a tough-one. I'll have to think about that.

    I will.

Went to a Thai restaurant a while ago, a Dutch family with an obnoxious teenager was sitting nearby. When placing their order the kid ranted that he wanted his hot, hot, hot.

It was great fun watching the sweat run freely and copiously.

If you stop going, won't that require layoffs at Menard's?
