If I burst into your house shouting satanas te diligit, would it have any meaning to you? Would you feel saved?
Yeah, that failed prophecy has been bandied around for about 2000 years. You believers are still waiting (and praying). We atheists are still waiting (and smiling).
They don't have machetes on that island. The fishermen who got drunk and shipwrecked on the island died from arrows according to other sources.
Yup. He is not innocent in his death. What he did was both extremely dangerous and illegal. It cost him his life. He is no martyr, only a dead fool who'd still be alive had he not done something so incredibly stupid. What part of "Dislodge the cross from your *** and think rationally." did you not understand?
Yes. It was met with flying arrows. And they can't be too uncivilized or savage, because they are a very ancient tribe surviving still without having been assimilated into contemporary society. They are very unwilling to allow outsiders, and because they pose such an insignificant threat it's best that everyone take heed of the warnings and law and leave them alone. They don't want us, and we aren't welcome. Why should it bother us and give reason for us to think less of them?Has anybody tried dropping medical supplies, food, and pictorial Bibles from airplanes/drones to these uncivilized savages. ....

Those numbers would be sufficient enough to not have to interbreed. But after 30,000 years, they might be genetically homogeneous enough that interbreeding may not be much of an issue for them. For instance, their inbreeding (there are only 50 to 150 of them)
It was probably disease (it has killed many natives from all over who went to Europe) that killed them and not the lack of something from their island. When some were abducted from the island years ago, they died almost immediately upon the trip to Europe... As if they required something special that they couldn't receive off the island.
That's a horribly inadequate way to study them. For one, you can't ask them about anything they are doing, can't ask about their language, and will have no idea what that ritual is or its purpose....These people need to be studied via satellite. And watched... Like the Truman show, starring Jim Carrey.
And we don't have strange habits? We take the remains of the ancient dead and power our motors with them AND eat them, wiping with toilet paper is considered gross and unclean by some, and our model of family has a noticeable lack of family. Also, they possess strange habits such as communal beach orgies according to sources.
We're disgusting to many because we eat pigs and cows and cook our vegetables. Whether done out of respect or disrespect, cannibalism isn't too unusual for us, and indeed of all the humans in history those who did practice cannibalism would find they are comfortably not alone. Also, some sources say they cannot create fire, yet other sources say they are cannibals -which seems extremely disgusting when you put the two together.
There are things we need to learn about them. For instance, their inbreeding (there are only 50 to 150 of them) for tens of thousands of years seems contrary to science. When some were abducted from the island years ago, they died almost immediately upon the trip to Europe... As if they required something special that they couldn't receive off the island.

No different than any other meat without fire. But just imagine what cannibalism looks like in the absence of fire.
That does tend to be were morality has traditionally come from. People announcing they are speaking of morality of the behalf of god is a prime example of this. For-profit prisons and destroying forests for a profit are also pretty wild ideas. Circumcision, long days at work, the hustle and bustle, Western and American cultures are so bizarre and wild that I actually agree with Osama Bin Laden on some of the points he made criticizing us - you just won't see me flying airplanes into a building to kill myself, another facet of the "wild imagination" when religion runs morality....If morality truly is subjective, then the moral habits of these people could surely be something from our wildest imaginations.
Actually I never mentioned religion and am not a fundamentalistWhatta bunch of religious BS. The fishermen have been warned by the Indian Government. The fishermen who helped the missionary have been arrested.
How about just leaving these people alone. They don't need a dose of Christian fundiism and they don't need a bunch of Bahai fundiism.
A Bible that was pierced by an arrow. A Bible they can't read. Even if it wasn't discarded, to them the English it contains would be no different than what Mandarin Chinese looks to me.But at least he delivered a water proof Bible to them.
How do you propose to actually use drones to study a group of people? Even in a friendly tribe that will not work. It's even more impossible when the locals are shooting arrows at the drone (and their is precedence to assume that is exactly what they would do to a drone). All further studies of these people should be done with unmanned drones.
Contrary to science, how? There are things we need to learn about them. For instance, their inbreeding (there are only 50 to 150 of them) for tens of thousands of years seems contrary to science.
That's normal and the reason you don't contact uncontacted tribes, because you kill them with your diseases. You know the Euros who went to America killed much of the population there because they had diseases the natives didn't have resistance to. Same deal on this island. The missionary might end up killing the whole island if he's "lucky" and his corpse ends up spreading some disease there. When some were abducted from the island years ago, they died almost immediately upon the trip to Europe... As if they required something special that they couldn't receive off the island.
Yep. Anyone with a decent moral compass wouldn't go, and spread diseases to them that would kill them while risking life to get to them. They can't read and speak a language no one else knows, so the Bible won't end up being read. After reading all that i can find on these people, i had enough. I don't want to know their ways. I'm a Calvinist, so i don't want to save them. If any are savable, none of them will slip through the Lord's righteous right hand. I wouldn't have gone there like John Chau did. But at least he delivered a water proof Bible to them.

He didn't burst into anyone's house.
He just paddled his kayak to the beach.
The point being, speaking in a language you don't even understand. If I burst into your house shouting Satanas te diligit, would it have any meaning to you? Would you feel saved?
I'm not wishing or praying for it, "woe to those who long for the Day of the Lord".
Are you worried about it?
Did i hit a nerve?
- any day now - any day now. You can deny it but you really do want to be around to see the fulfillment of your silly fantasy. But if it is starting to begin now and we are within the prophetic time period for it to occur, "Blessed and holy is he who waiteth for and reaches the 1335th day.
Let my reasonableness be known to ALL men,
For the Lord is at hand.
Peaceful Sabbath.
The more that i have read of them,
