By that you mean certain parts or portion of the bible. But how do you choose/tell which is literal and which allegorically? The bible is read by many of different language learning. How the hack to read it. Couldn't the bible be more clear and straight with its words, rather than confusing and up for everyone interpretation instead.
Cain, Son of Adam and Eve moves East of Eden and takes a wife. Where did Cains wife come from?
Today, if brothers and sisters get married there will almost certainly be problems with their offspring, but when they were so close to the time of Adam's and Eve's creation, and so close to the perfection they had before sinning, God knew there would be no genetic problems.

cgood,
Cain's wife was one of his sisters.
The Bible tells us that Eve had to become the mother of everyone living. There were no other families on earth at that time, Gen 3:20.
At the time of Cain marrying one of his sisters, the human family was still very close to the time when Adam and Eve were perfect, so having a wife that close of a relative would not produce defects, as it would today. The human family has degenerated now for over 6,000 years. When Adam and Eve decided to rebell against God they became imperfect, the defect cause them to start to degenerate, and slowly die. We all inherited this defect, which is the reason we all die, Rom 5:12. If Adam and Eve had not sinned they would still be alive on earth ,today.
Notice Gen 5:4, where we are told that Adam had sons and daughters, not mentioned by name. One of these became Cain's wife.
I won't pretend to know what you are talking about, but I have this from Art Sippo, who is a physician:This whole argument predicates on the assumption that Adam and Eve were historical individuals. But the literary markers of Genesis don't point to that possibility.
It means that Adam and Eve are nothing more than fictional characters in a metaphoric, mythic story.I won't pretend to know what you are talking about, but I have this from Art Sippo, who is a physician:
