48°C is a lot, I can't imagine if temperature was that high in my country. But in my country we also recorded some above-average temperatures than usual, seems we really did a good job with climate change.

It's apparently 88°F here, which is about 31.1°C. So you definitely have us beat. At least your heat is probably dry heat, however. Imagine if it was humid heat.

In our country it is a 100 year record. In 1998, in the aftermath of a nuclear test, there was a high but not this high.

Oops, as an American I was thinking 48 degrees is cool. Then I realized you are in Celsius:oops:

118.4 Fahrenheit. You know in my crazy younger days I was in Tucson, Arizona once and the temperature was close to 120 and I still went jogging per my routine. Drank a lot of water after.

48 C = 118.4 F.
That's HOT!
Here in N.E. Ohio it reached 95 F which is TOO hot for spring. It's even too hot for our
normal summers.

Silly OP. Fahrenheit is for weather.

But yeah, 48C is pretty warm. The hottest weather I have been in (that I know of) was when it hit 112F (44.4C) in my backyard in New Mexico.
