Black Adder

Yes, yes, yes! :goodjob:

I have always loved Dr. Who...takes me back to my childhood lol. They've been rerunning it from the very first episode here on the ABC for months now...hanging out for them to get to the series with Tom Baker as The Doctor (he was my favourite).
They reran Fawlty Towers here a while ago, and I taped them all...should have me a marathon one day soon lol.
And I love Blackadder! The sarcasm...love it. My sister and I still use lines from it... "I have a cunning plan...it involved turnips..."

Other shows I like (some still running, some not):
All Saints
Alias
Angel
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
CSI: Miami
E.R.
Law and Order: Criminal Intent
N.C.I.S.
Queer As Folk
Queer Eye For the Straight Guy (watching that right now lol)
The L Word
Tru Calling

Oh, and then there's that Simpsons show...that's ok too... Oh geez...tell me I didn't just post those alphabetically without even trying. I'm a librarian at heart...just shoot me now.

Merely OK?! Sheesh! Your comment "is the most blatant case of false advertising since my lawsuit against the producers of The Never Ending Story." ~Lionel Hutz, Springfield Mall-based lawyer

 I knew that would get a bite! You know I love The Simpsons, although all I ever get to see are reruns these days, cause I'm usually in bed when the new episodes are on.

I never watch tv of my own accord. However, I often watch with my family if I am bored.

With my sister I watch Inuyasha, Kenshin, and Yu Yu Hakuso (pardon me if I am spelling those incorrectly.... I don't care). She is a big anime buff.

With my parents I occassionally watch Star Trek, Stargate SG-1 and just now Stargate Atlantis.

I used to watch ER, MASH, and the old Star Trek series all the time... but no more.

My favorite tv show would be hard for me to pick. It would have to be a three way tie four way tie between Arrested Development, Chappelle's Show, Family Guy and Scrubs. Those shows have me cracking up when I watch them. Other favorites include Sliders, Star Trek Deep Space Nine and The O.C. All great shows.

CNNNN, Kath and Kim, hamish and andy, southpark and the glass house were (they've finished now) awesome. Merrick and Rosso just seem like they're giving themselves an ego trip.

glass house is still on...and even if they were giving themselves an ego trip...it was still funny...

I'll have to add:
Invader Zim, Futurama, Monty Pythons, upright citizens brigade and the micallef program (micallef tonight was no way near as good - i'm sure most of you care).

hmm...I liked Micallef Tonight....bah but it looks like you're the majority since it was axed...and I wish they put futurama back on....that show is just plain funny...actually more weird...

Has anybody seen Big Train or dead ringers?

yeah I watch Dead ringers sometimes...it would be funnier if I understood more of the British jokes...but generally it's not too hard to get the gist of what the jokes are about...

Ceridwen018: it should be manditory to quote the simpsons

and yeah Fawlty towers is just funny...possibly the funniest series ever...although they only made 12 episodes

I'm back!
anyone watch gilmore girls? sigh. i love the way they talk.

i like the old ER, with George Cloony (!!!) and the chinese lady.

I also recently started watching Six Feet Under. that was interesting. pretty morbid.

What show did you like as a young or old person?
My favourites:
The simpson (can't beat Homer)
Futurama (very brillant!)
Fawlty Tower (Very Brit I like it.)
The Office (Scarily funny)
Black Books ( I like the Surreal comedy a LOT!)

Top 1 is Black Books
Why? Every time I saw it, it gets better and better
The surreal humour is unique, I like Manny the best, he's a idiot but I like him
The plots is very fresh and uniquely acted. The lines make no sense but it's very funny. It's a Brit show but you'll like it when you see it.

South Park.

I mean, Simpsons is a classic, certainly, but South Park is absolute genius....I've actually never seen Futurama but I've heard it's pretty funny.

Keeping up appearences is good; I'm probably watching the third or fourth repeats. I did'nt know we'd exported that to you. I'm not keen on the brother and sister neighbours though - they seem to overact, and spoil the programme.:)

SUPER NOT-A-MOD
I don't like any of the current or recent shows--so off to rerunland we go!

Columbo (The best in every respect. Peter Falk is awesome.)
All in the Family (Wonderful satire of prejudice and ignorance.)
Barney Miller (Featured some great comedic actors.)

I love the way he always catches out the vilain by suddenly having an apparent afterthought, then he asks the real clincher!!:)

oh, they're fun!

"oh god, it's that horrible Bucket woman!"
"quick, draw the curtains!"

and then there's the long-suffering vicar.

oh, what's that show about the lady vicar? do you know the one? she's this big, big-hearted, wry woman and the show's just wonderful.
