I can't afford to get all the ink I want, or I'd be covered. My favorite tattoo artist told me that if people ask me how many tattoos I have, I should say "Just one -- but it's not finished yet." :D
My friend Sally came into some money, and now she goes to the tattoo studio every Sunday. I'm jealous.

The Empress Elisabeth had an anchor, so I guess you're in good company. :)

I usually don't go to bed at all on Sunday night, but since I slept all day, I'm tired. Makes no sense.

Well I worked yesterday and into today 7p-7a, twelve hour shift, probably need some sleep, drank a few beers and bull****ted here. I will probably fall asleep but I will wake up soon, spend time with my wife after she gets home from work and eat those salads we talked about making and eating yesterday (a butt grab or two in the kitchen does wonders for the heat up) eventually we will snuggle in and do what comes naturally. The television may be on or off I never really pay attention, but I seem to hate residual noise unless it's porn.

I have a tattoo over my scar. One tattoo place wouldn't do it, so I went to Burnin' Dave, who has 3rd Degree burns over both his lower arms, and he said sure.

I went to check out a piano (an extended family member passed away a few weeks ago, and now they're at the stage of sorting out her things, including a very out-of-tune but hopefully salvageable piano), had a snowball fight with my nephew, listened to a "command performance" of my niece's speech she did for school, then went home, changed the oil in my wife's car, and finished the evening with a glass of 10-year-old Talisker. :D

Well I woke up this morning in my lovely hospital bed being probed by yet another needle. Yes Folks, I'm in the hospital. I've been here since Wednesday and they still aren't sure what's wrong with me except that my lungs are not my friend anymore. I've been forced to give up smoking and they have me on a diabetic diet. My sugar levels are up high enough to be given insulin and all I want to do is go home. Pray for me everyone. This is the lonliest I have ever felt. My ex husband took my kids on Friday and I haven't seen them since. He's informed me that he's taking custody of them and I won't be gettng them back. This might be the saddest day of my life and there's nothing I can do about it. But my chin is up and I'm still alive and there is a smile on my face as I'm writing this, so keep my children in your prayers, afterall, they're truely the one's hurting through all this.
Sorry to be so dramatic

Oh, Pussyfoot! I'm so :sorry1: to hear about all your bad luck! You don't sound "dramatic" at all, just really, really down. And who could blame you. I will keep you and your kids in my prayers. Please keep us updated on how you are, okay?

I thought judges were supposed to recuse themselves from rendering a verdict on their own custody cases. Unless he's not a judge, in which case I'd tell him to pack sand.

As for the custody battle of the year, Francine, the unfortunate thing is that we've been seperated for over 2 years now without any legal stuff. So the truth is, neither of us ever actually, legally, has custody of the children. So with me being in the hospital, it is true, the kids are better off with him, but now he's threatening to keep them for good. I'm not worrying about it right now, since there isn't anything I can do from a hospital bed, but once I'm out I'll see what can be done. Who knows, maybe they'd prefer to be with their Dad for a while, afterall...they are boys!

So I went with him to the car yards to check out a few cars.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No decent car for less than $5k so it was a total waste of an afternoon.

Today I'm going to a conference with my English professor. Then I am going to my other class. Then I'm coming home and doing all of my homework, and reading the rest of a book for a test I have tomorrow.

I had 3 hours free this morning, I've an assignment coming due so I should have studied BUT the day was fine and the surf was good. So I went surfing. Since then I've been minding the kids and dipping in and out of here. They're off to bed soon so then I'll start the study I should have done this morning.
