Excellent, you should definitely follow your heart. Personally I'm a big fan of Judaism's culture and little titbits of its theology, but overall its Biblical story isn't something that 'clicks' with me.

If you love Shiva, it sounds like you're already close to beginning on your journey that is Hinduism. The fact that the temple is both Vaishnava and Shaiva is a bonus. You should telephone them and ask if you may visit. You could also ask about their opinion on Westerners following Hinduism and if they accept it there, but I think it may be better for them to know you are genuinely interested.

Interesting you have a Jain temple! I've seen there are quite a few in the US, but I don't think we have any Hindu-Jain temples here in the UK, which is a damned shame, since I've never encountered a Jain before, I don't know if there are any in my city, or if there are they must be small in number.

To be honest, from your reading I would suggest you go towards Hinduism, although that sounds kind of biased of me, lol. You should investigate them further. One of the most difficult aspects of Hinduism is its number of different variations, and all the new terms. I ended up using Sikhism and Buddhism as ways to understand Hinduism more, but to be honest, I don't think I've really left Sikhism or Buddhism - I'm still them in some ways, since Sanatana Dharma is so broad and encompassing. :D

Which ones are you currently interested in? Have you tried the Belief O Matic quiz recently?

Speaking of seeking, how is your path going? Still nowhere?

I'm going pretty well. My search has come to an end! At least, I hope it has. :)
What are your current thoughts, theologically speaking? Like, your view of the afterlife, your view on God, etc etc. :)
