  • You're very welcome. Your post really did resonate with me. Although we obviously differ in many of the things we believe, I could tell from your post that we have a great deal in common. I also liked how you expressed your disbelief of certain doctrines. You did so without condemning people who believe them, which seems to be a rare quality today. As my dad used to say, you have the ability to disagree without being disagreeable. ;)
Yeah! That's him :) Martin Buber is a chip off the old block himself ;) I found Boehme through reading about Eckhart, one of my favourites.

In church this week I was looking over the 'for sale' rack and found 'Personal Christianity', as I've mentioned, which is a collection of Boehme writings, categorically arranged. It's been good.
I'd consider this an anthology of sorts.

Thanks for the other names, by the way. It's refreshing to see this kind of writing on the Protestant side of things.

I'm Anglican(-Catholic) in tradition, but lean towards an Eastern Orthodox theology. (needless information)

    Will be seeing you. :namaste

Mysticism is my pathway to grow, through Christ, towards knowing God.

Reading about Jacob Boehme right now, another Rhineland Mystic.
