Writing to me is like planting a garden There are two ways to do it. One, you can have everything planned down and start from there like Tolkien. Or you can just start with the first sentence like a baby seed and let it grow George R.R. Martin style. Also big note. FIND SOMEONE GOOD AT EDITING AND READING THE STORY. I usually get someone to read it after every 30 pages I can do. Sorry if my advice is a little vague and jumbled

A good friend has suggested that I write a novel of some sort. It would be largely based on my life -- he's a lunatic and thinks there's a story there. I have promised him I will make an effort in good faith to see if I can bring something about. But I am clueless about writing novels. Would you be willing to give me any tips.

And by the way, when you publish, I will buy a copy. Perhaps you might be willing to autograph it for me?

Progressive Islam is not Islam. Still falls back on Deism and Skepticism. Mighty as well just admit that you are not a "true" Muslim as one of the major tenets is the acceptance of the Qur'an's perfection.

Well I myself will just say this to you Huey09(love the show by the way ). Islam is a very dogmatic religion but on the outside it looks exotic and spectacular. I am a big Arabic and Turkish buff so I loved Islam specifically for its cultural aspects.
But do keep in mind that in Islam the perfection of the Mu'min(believer) is the goal. So a lot of natural actions are discouraged.
Islam is submission to a religion and with it comes a lot of negativity. You will have to learn how to bash homosexuals, non-believers and realize that al ot of the people you love will go to Jahannam(The hell-fire) where they will suffer and be given new skins daily for eternity.

Personally I recommend Wathaniyya . Arabian Neo-Paganism is dead and requires some followers
