The argument here is about defining a Christian. You argue your definition and I argue mine.
But at least I have laid out my definition - you need to provide your own.

No, what you have done is claim all christians are like you. You have denied arond 90% of Christianity are actually christian.

My definition, if they claim to be Christian then who am i to argue, Christians come in all shapes and sizes, a few are good people, most are not.

And this is said by experience.

What if our universe was not the first one, but just one of many universes that has existed?

How would it affect your religious beliefs?

Would a string of universes be yet an other reason for people to not believe in a God or gods?

It just kicks the can down the road. That would not offer an explanation for the creation of the first universe either.

It doesn't change existing belief because no first cause have been determined by this theory which would deny God as being the first cause.

I think it odd to say that the cosmos cannot be infinite in time but you have no problem with your god being infinite in time

That's a valid point.

However, something must be eternal in order for anything to exist.

Which makes more sense? A supernatural being that always existed, or inanimate matter than always existed?

The definition of God includes his eternal existence, so if there is a God he was not created.

In order for anything to exist something must be eternal.

There is no standard definition of god, or more precisely there are as many definitions as there are god believers

So it's ok for your god to be eternal but not for anything else. So... Where did god exist before there was anything to exist in?

An innate matter makes more sense to me.
