The Lost One
It's how Genesis was handed down to us - or, how Genesis was given to the ancient Hebews.
And I have accepted Genesis as they were written, and I have also accepted they don’t understand much about nature, like -
  • WHAT natural phenomena are?
  • Nor could they HOW they (natural processes) work?

They have only limited understanding of what they see in the natural world, and lack the methodology & technology to explain it and test what they are seeing.

“God did it”, isn’t an explanation for anything. They have resorted to “God did it” out of ignorance, and these “god did this” or “god did that”, like in Genesis and Job, are just superstitions.

The only values the Bible have to offer, are moral codes and ethics, but even that, are outdated, and at times, immoral by today’s standards.

They (authors) weren’t scientists, nor were they naturalists and logicians. And the Bible is neither science treatises, nor a history book.

The bible is not a history book, nor is it a physics book. You would struggle to find algebra there, or philosophy.
The bible concerns itself with the meaning of life and our relationship with God. The moral code we lived by
today is the New Testament - and yes, many consider its morals outdated in our drug addled and adulterous
world. See below. However, wrong is still wrong if everyone does it, and right is right if no-one does it.
