Pricey Tea!

Oh check it out @JustGeorge (and everybody else who's reading this), no wonder it cost so much, it comes with a little wooden spoon inside!

I'm going to keep that spoon! Maybe I will bless it and keep it in my Honden as a relic for the kami, because I don't know if I'm going to need it for anything else after I finish the tea!

It's a cute spoon, and I was going to say it came with the tea free, but no I guess it didn't now did it! :p

How big do you think that spoon is people?

Someone at RF, I think it was @Altfish , told me he doesn't drink tea that comes in tea bags, and spoke rather negatively about tea that comes in bags, which almost left me with the impression that tea bags are wrong or sinful.
Apologies, that was not my intention. This is what I drink ...

Wow! What a nice spoon.

When I was in high school, I had a really long chain I wore... that was full of cafeteria sporks. They each had a name and a story(that I made up).

You can have a lot of fun with a spoon. :D

I was just joking about tea bags being wrong or sinful :p , I never actually thought that, but you spoke negative about them, causing me to buy the stuff in the OP.

But I'm glad you did, because I feel some important things have been said at this thread, so thank you sir! :)

Have you played the game spoons?

No, how do you play?
You have four cards in your hand, and someone keeps drawing, and passing one to the right of the table with spoons in the middle.

You keep grabbing a new card and discarding one to the right.

As soon as someone gets four of the same kind, he/she grabs a spoon, and everyone who grabs a spoon is not disqualified!

There is always one more person than the number of spoons, so the person who doesn't grab a spoon quick enough is kicked out of the game, and one less spoon on the table, until person is left, who is winner, with the last spoon.

You should play with Sam, LeeAnder (Lion Man of the Meadow, is what that name means), and Ares, or friends when you have them over. It is funner than lots of card games, because it is quick paced , and everyone frantically grabs spoons at once in the center of the table.

You can also hide the spoons throughout the house and play that way, but things might get broken! ;)

Things always get broken, I don't worry about it too much anymore.

But I have people coming over to play cards later! I'm going to save these instructions, and might try this out.

Good stuff. That's what i used to buy.

Do it for Yorkshire
Yorkshire England, known for Viking and Roman heritage? If I remember Christ, you and I have Vikings ancestors. I do at any rate!

I wonder if New York City, biggest city i have been to, is named after Yorkshire? I could google I but thought I'd ask if you knew first.

Okay george, just remember, when you get four of a kind, you don't tell people you have four of a kind, you just quickly and as quietly as possible grab a spoon. Then after everybody grabs a spoon and one person is disqualified for not having a spoon, the person has to prove afterwards that they have four of a kind. :)

Let me know how it goes george, if you do indeed decide to play, and let me know if you ever decided to hide the spoons in the house! I've never played that way, and it sounds interesting! You should hide one above the fridge maybe! :D

But actually, come to think of it, I think you would have to have someone who's not playing, hide the spoons , if you were going to play that way!
