“We will not back off from the annihilation of Israel, even one millimeter,” Brig.-Gen. Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces, told the Iranian Students News Agency. “We want to destroy Zionism in the world.”

I know that Israel (or any government) is no saint but are there really any options for Israel?

I do know that Israel has given concession after concession... but where has it gotten them?

Thoughts?

Those people will be anti-Zionist until the Lord comes, as long as they don't start a war I don't think there will be one, no matter what is said.

Hate is an easy way to manipulate folks. I imagine they have to continually incite hatred for Israel in Iran.

First of all such boastfulness is common place for Iran, but nevertheless should be taken seriously without overreacting.

Secondly, there has not been any concessions made by Israel towards Iran, although it is uncertain whether Netanyahu may have looked for support in conducting a first strike against them. Was he just talk or did he mean it? I don't think there's any way of knowing.

Gotta be careful with that as Palestinians are quite a diverse group, and they ain't all on the same page let me tell ya.

BTW, I spent some time in the West Bank and visited several sites there and also a joint Jewish-Palestinian Kibbutz not far from Jerusalem. I rode a camel in the WB as well, and that's a one & out, let me tell ya! Ain't like riding a horse!!! My butt is still trying to heal from that. :(

I would take them serious with all of their efforts on supporting violence towards Israel. Yes, overreacting won't be good but underestimating may mean a nuclear warhead heading toward Israel. I'm glad that the decision doesn't rest on me!

It is true there hasn't been concessions towards Iran. Have they ever sought peace with Israel?

If you can find a way to get rid of religion and stop people believing in magical supreme beings, a lot of the worlds problems will go away.

Iran has been controlled by Israel-America for over 40 years.
The marxist-style "Supreme Leader" form of government has been "western" controlled since it was installed after the 1979 Cia-Mossad created "revolution." (The same dial-a-revolution playbook they ran in most of Asia, Central and South America, and Europe during the mid 20th century)
Anything coming from the current regime in Iran is scripted nonsense by a puppet regime, to keep the region destabilized and create conditions for a larger scale war, and the continued expansion of "Israel."

You think the geopolitical problems that have made the Middle East a contested region for millennia, are down to religion?

What is the motivation to destabilize the middle-east?
