Can vegetarianism change the world?

So do you eat everything that lives and moves? Dogs? Cats? Chimpanzees? Rats? Maggots?

If not, and this is, indeed, a command of God, what consequences will befall you for disobeying His command?
I would eat dogs and cats if hungry enough. I have eaten bobcat. ..it wasn't bad. And I eat squirrels which are essentially rats with furry tails.

Why was that, if you don't mind me asking?
It was hard for me specifically. Many people might not find it difficult, but I like sweets.
I got tired of cauliflower ice cream, and black bean brownies.
I can eat an obscene amount of wonderful desserts now, and I’ve lost 24 pounds since I started the new diet less than two months ago.

But I did do very well with weight loss as well as my blood test numbers, on the vegan diet.

If I had to suddenly eat meat (for survival perhaps, if I was stranded with no other food source) I'd find that not an easy diet. Diet is subjective, as to easy or difficult. Try being a vegetarian Celiac. On long flights, for example, one can order vegetarian meals, or gluten free meals, but not vegetarian and gluten free.

Personally, I found it really easy to become vegetarian. Far easier than quitting smoking. You still get to eat. With smoking, you have to give it up entirely.
I can easily relate to what you’re saying.
It was very easy for me initially on the vegan diet, and I didn’t miss eating animals.

It was the dessert problem.

What dessert problem? I don't understand. You mean there's dairy in most desserts?

Right now I eat keto chocolate cake, keto key lime cheesecake, keto fat bombs, pork rinds, nuts, and all the whipped cream I want.
I don't even know what keto is. Will look it up. Okay, got it. I'm also on a diet. it's called the no snacking' diet. I invented it for myself. So far it's been about 45 pounds ... only 5 more to go.

Wow
Congratulations
Great job

That would be a very hard one for me

Snacks are, literally, about half my calories

I shoot for 800 calories in meals, and 700 in snacks

I've not heard of those. These are the vegan brownies I make, with not a black bean (weird) to be found. :)

Not. It says " will," not " you are allowed"
Of course plants are still part of the diet also.
You are clearly misappropriating "will" as what he's rather clearly saying is that meat "will" be an option, which is important in context since Judaism then and now has strict dietary rules of "kosher v treif" [the latter means forbidden]. Matter of fact, Paul later clarifies that and basically says not to get hung up on what another may eat.
