Somehow you were deceived as to what is really evil and what is good. In many cases it is not so much a return to knowing God, but a finding and coming to actually know God that people discover. Like a light turning on in a dark room.
A.follower of an evil God, such as the God of the Old Testament, will never understand the difference between good and evil.

I was decieved when I believed it was OK to justify things god did worh this and that, believing two wrongs make a right amd that which is evil is righteous and holy whem god does it. Thay was an utterly confused position.
Now I expect consistency and none of that repressive, murderous, amd genocidal ways.

We know what God is like because He came down here Personally. Any other idea people have about what He is like is inspired from another entity that hates love and kids and God and wants people to go to hell.

You don’t know any of this for a fact, you’re speculating and spreading information that is not factual. You can’t know when and where a vaccine or any other treatment will come. We can’t “expect” anything based on conjecture, which is all it is, current numbers or not.

Well, the US is now up to 350,000 dead of Covid 19, and we are only half way through the winter.

So my estimate was conservative to say the least. Looks now as if you will be lucky to get away with less than half a million dead, by the time the vaccine is fully rolled out.

Of Covid? Or complications from Covid?

According to John Hopkins the per capita based on 100,000 people is 7.4

Mortality Analyses - Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center
The number of deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University, is now > 350,000.

At the end of October, when 220,000 had died, I estimated - in posts 147 and 151- that at least a further 100,000 would die in the course of the winter.

I was then accused (not by you) of making unjustified speculations and spreading misinformation.

So here we are, with winter less than half over, and my estimate has already been overtaken.

I'm not impressed by shock value statistical data.

Yeah, i too have seen people die who shouldn't have died..

So i repeat, does it matter whether it was covid or complications from covid. They caught covid and one way or another they are dead.

I am not impressed with people who try to make light of and give excuses.

For the "skeptics":

Risk for In-Hospital Complications Associated with COVID-19 and Influenza — Veterans Health Administration, United States, October 1, 2018–May 31, 2020 | MMWR (cdc.gov)

Also Mortality Analyses - Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center (jhu.edu):
Coronavirus vs. Flu Deaths
COVID-19: There have been approximately 1,808,450 deaths reported worldwide. In the U.S, 342,634 people have died of COVID-19 between January 2020 and December 31, 2020.*

Flu: The World Health Organization estimates that 290,000 to 650,000 people die of flu-related causes every year worldwide.

The COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly. Since this disease is caused by a new virus, the vast majority of people do not yet have immunity to it, and a vaccine may be many months away. Doctors and scientists are working to estimate the mortality rate of COVID-19, but at present, it is thought to be substantially higher (possibly 10 times or more) than that of most strains of the flu.

That should put things in perspective.

Yes, it does. That means over 3 million people in the US will die of this. Trivializing it as 1% seems downright heartless.

Are you really claiming it isn't a big problem as long as under 10% of people die? or 20%? What is the level at which is becomes a big deal in your mind?

We invaded 2 goddamn countries over 3,000 Americans dying. Suddenly 3 million is just...eh, the way the cookie crumbles.:facepalm:
