If you could have the Soul of any Animal as a part of your own, which animal would it be and why?

Honestly i would not have a animal soul
human soul is the lowest i want to fall as a being.

Chuckle. I watched an American tourist ask for a bowl of salad in a french restaurant. She became very offended when the waiter brought her a bowl of lettuce.

But to combine two forms would be an increase in level not decrease IMO. A replacement of your Soul with an animal would be, but a combination (ie Spirit Animal) is a bonus/addition.

my quest in life is to get away from physical body and only be spirit. Done by spiritual practices not by taking my life

I can wait for this until Death. For now I would like to enjoy everything I can right here. Enjoy what works for you.

Yes, but in a different way. Even i do follow Islam teaching i have gone past the "religion" and do not see a self anymore
In chat i still write the word "I" but its only a word.
I never got this from Falun Gong even i know its fully possible for them too.
I found full freedom from the teaching i follow now

Why do you see animal souls as being lower than human souls?
My dog treats me much better than my neighbor.

In my understanding animals are beings who was created as animals because of karmic reason to use a dharmic term. Some humans act like animals that is true

its my understanding from many years of study dharmic religion too. That said i dont say Islam is wrong in its teaching, only seen from a different P.O.W

Which way to the woods?
Deer because they can survive terrible winters with horrible food and they ALWAYS, pick the shortest and safest trail through the woods.
Crow because of their ability to survive eating horrible food, they are intelligent, crafty and social.
Those are just two of my favorites. I try to think like them and always follow deer trails when in doubt in the woods. Crows are just fun to watch.
At one time I used to do a lot of shapeshifting. I've been a deer running through the forest along with several other animals. Mountain goat is a great one for steep climbs.
