Yes, but large gathers, especially indoors, are very risky and why America has been hit so hard with Covid. And America has been terrible at wearing masks. How would someone going to church would cause you to get COVID? Why should my fear hinder someone else's right to go to church or Walmart or to the gas station or to the beach?

If my son knew the risks and it would kill me, when he saw me he would wear a mask and stay 6 feet away. Do you know how masks and social distancing work? It is called common sense.

I wear a mask wherever I go. Maybe I’m infected? I haven’t had so much as a runny nose in over a year. So maybe I’m an asymptomatic carrier. Do you think maybe you’re playing into the hysteria and fear mongering? Only so many precautions can be taken before we start burning down buildings and burning people alive. And you consider a church gathering a little get together? Do you go shopping? How long have you been in a store? Do you see many people without masks? If so why is the store permitting it? I'm going out only once a week now, other than for walks with Boss, or appointments for things like flu shots. Yesterday I ordered an air purifier from a local store for drive by pickup. The order was confirmed to be ready in less than half an hour after my email, and I picked it up 10 minutes later. The front of the store parking lot was jam packed, but there was only one car at the back using this free service, and that was me. It's really not that hard.
