the body produces a unique spirit on every occasion

but after your last breath...will eternity accept what you have become?
will eternity accept what you have done unto yourself?
or others

Do unto others as you would have it done unto you

I don't know if "eternity" will accept what I've become. As far as I can tell, after one's last breath, the body dies and gets disposed of somehow. Some religions even seem to believe that
how the body is disposed of will affect whether they're accepted by eternity. (Some religions ban cremation and/or embalming of the body.)
But what part of me, exactly, would be potentially "accepted" by eternity? It's obviously not in my body, since that's just an empty, lifeless shell at that point, and it will eventually become "dust to dust, ashes to ashes." Supposedly, the "soul" is some undetectable wisp of energy which leaves the body at the point of death, and this is apparently the unique part of "me" which will either be accepted or rejected by "eternity." That's where the whole concept gets a bit fuzzy and vague.
