Any evidence to actually support that you want to cite?
You want to hash out each statistic? Ecery "developed nation" seceral years prior and several years after gun control measures.
Perhaps in your view. Not in the view of the Supreme Court, much less if the court wasn't currently controlled by conservatives.
No in any view.
No, the vast majority of people who commit homicide choose a gun.
I never said otherwise.
You're in a conversation with me...o_O
Yes a conversation with you utilizing cherry picked data. Yet, when i explain that the data is cherry picked you want to say that you didn't cherry pick it. Yeah, i understand you did not cherry pick it.

If it is the law that you must pass a background check to purchase an item, then by definition running the background check is a law enforcement purpose.
No. It is the law that a healthcare provider must share PHI with law enforcement for some law enforcement purposes. you want to extend those purposes.

Which control measures? Which countries? Which years? Any meta-analytic studies to pull all that together first trends? (Oh wait I posted one...) Actually cite some data to support what you're saying.

No in any view.

Obviously it's my view so...o_O

If you want to cite (not just claim) more robust data, feel free to post it.

Yes. A change in law is obviously what I'm seeking. Isn't that widely known? So if your objection is that proposed law contradicts current law...congratulations? Welcome to all new law proposals?

Why does median income matter when we are discussing just the effect of gun control policies?

Does poverty have an effect on crime?

Generally in public policy analysis countries that are comparable in socioeconomic status are compared to each other, rather than comparing completely disparate countries.

Look at the data in any of the reports you have provided or researched. Look 3 years prior and three years after gun regulation. Why would I need to provide evidence for what is already in front of your eyes?

 Why in the world would you need to support your claims with evidence? Silly me.

The data I cited supports my conclusions. This is why I cited it. If you want to dig into it and actually discuss specifics, then do so.

What you mean to say is that we need variables, including culture, isolated.

That is part of it, which is extremely difficult to do in all real-world situations. So unless we throw out all public health and policy research from the people who dedicate their lives to it, I suggest we actually listen to what they have to say and look at what data they have found, acknowledging their limitations.

No i would prefer to enact policies that save more lives and don't infringe on rights in the process.

Rights have to be balanced with public safety, which is the first point we covered. Gun control does save lives. Again, see the multiple studies I've cited.

You would need to actually make this case, not just claim it.
Look at what you are claiming. You want individuals to submit to mental health screenings before being licensed to carry a weapon. Yeah, i don't need to prove it when you are a shining example of a person who wants what is outside government authority.
