In my opinion, Indonesian Muslims are the best. The rest are immature children.

They seem to be more gentle and open to others living their own lives, not forcing them to be Muslim.
I don't think the comparison helps Islaam's reputation any, and that is before taking into account that lessons should be learned from those that open the way. It's still 1400 for them in their calendar; remember what Christian countries were like in 1400?
I was being facetious.I don't think the comparison helps Islaam's reputation any, and that is before taking into account that lessons should be learned from those that open the way.
Wot?....Even us Welsh uns?In my opinion, Indonesian Muslims are the best. The rest are immature children.
A rabbi had a small congregation in Jakarta. He said that Indonesia was the one place in which he never experienced anti Semitism. Of course, that doesn’t say much for the “Christian” countries that he had visited.
It has been my experience with Islam, as limited as it is, that it is a religion of peace and charity. That it has been bastardized by a tiny minority of the 1.6 billion Muslims into a religion of violence is no worse than the violence preached by a small minority of Christians.
The issues involving Islam today are political. Maybe we should stop invading their countries and denigrating their religion.

As Salaam Alaikum:
I never met one, so don't know. Many of the Middle Eastern Muslims are just Haram Police.
Waʿalaykumu s-salām, sister.
I was pulling your leg.
I’m sure you didn’t intend to insult my own (Muslim) family – and the great many others that you have never met, and know nothing about – when you wrote that non-Indonesian Muslims are ‘immature children’.
My 'Middle Eastern' family are of the Banū Hāshim. Not one is a member of the ‘Haram Police’.
You realise, of course, that a Muslim is obliged to obey the laws of whatever country they happen to be in; however daft these laws might seem. It’s ok, for example, to stroll arm-in-arm with a spouse in Dubai; but hugging or kissing that same spouse in a public place could result in arrest! It’s ok to munch a bun in the Burj Khalifa…..only be sure it’s not sprinkled with poppy seeds.
I’m sorry that your experiences have led you to think the way you do. My own are somewhat different.
It is what it is.
May Allāh (subḥānahu ūta'āla) guide you, and bring you to Himself.

Ha! Excellent point. It's still 1400 for them in their calendar; remember what Christian countries were like in 1400?
Yes, I tend to use 5779 as my standard date now. I often forget what the other date is.Ha! Excellent point.
And for Jews, we are in the year 5779. Technically that is an exaggeration, since it is a measurement of how many years since the mythical creation, not since Abraham. But you get the point.
Wow, you are really immerse! Do you live in Israel? Do you also use the lunar months of the Jewish calendar? In my experience, you favor one or the other, its really almost impossible to do both. I have a calendar that each page is a month on the Gregorian calendar, but each day notes its date in the Jewish Calendar for me. It gives candle lighting times, etc.Yes, I tend to use 5779 as my standard date now. I often forget what the other date is.
No, I live in England. I guess it's part of my backlash against living in a Christian-normative society. I am not accustomed to lunar months yet though.Wow, you are really immerse! I get the impression that Indonesian Muslims are very strict. Do they still execute and beat their convicts? And if so, what for?
