Gun shop billboard in NC mocks "The Squad"

Stanyon

WWMRD?
Being on the "Friends of AOC" mailing list I look forward to the email " I am the victim and we must fight against something" conspiracy that will most likely contain a lot of -isms that will serve as knee jerk fodder for her flock of demented sheep. I will post it when I get it.

But the deal is they're selling their product using racism. "Say you hate Muslims, get a free hat." That's not about the gun debate. That's purely about racism, and them making the gun a symbol of that. It's racism they are selling, not guns. You don't think there are legitimate gun owners or even gun stores owned by Muslims and Jews?

"Come eat some pork, while we fart towards Mecca. And while you're here, we have a nice washing machine for sale, and some fine quality guns for sale too. Remember, to shop at Buddy's All-Things-White Emporium this Saturday!"

You think going on dates with kin is sleezer than racism? Racism is less sleazy, a little more upscale?
It's odd...going on about their racism, while
making racist jokes about their being inbred.
To modify a popular quote....
There are bad attitudes on both sides.

I don't know what bacon has to do with guns. Silly billboard.

I'd imagine they aren't expecting a lot of Democrats or vegans for customers.

Anyone else find it hilarious they are so terrified of four women that they liken them to the four horsemen of the apocalypse?
Four women? No.

For women who possess congressional power? I would say that warrants a bit of concern in light of the propaganda they are spewing out.

Ah, the freedom of speech ! Idiots are as idiots do. These four are certainly idiots.
There are four owners of the gun shop? Huh. Thanks for the info.

Calling them the four horsemen suggest a level of fear that exceeds calling someone Hitler.

Terrified?
These newbies aren't powerful....yet.
For now, they're just amusing marketing mascots.

Well there is an apocalyptic tinge to it all.

After all , they are obviously trying to harbor in a new kingdom. I speculate it won't be America after they're through with it.

There's certainly a threatening undertone to the billboard:

- these politicians in particular are servants of Satan (literally or metaphorically).
- because of that, you're going to need guns.

... or gun owners who keep and use guns for things other than signalling their politics to other like-minded people, apparently.

Personally, I don't get the virtue signalling thing but I suppose it is a reality for some.

Otherwise, I'd agree, I don't see any benefit in alienating potential customers.

Considering where they do business, the odds are that they'll gain more than they'll lose.
But don't try that billboard up here in Michiganistan. We're more infested with heathens.

Be interesting to see if their sales picks up. If it does, I suppose it'll be a success. Political ramifications be Damned!
