Pro-Life by most really mean Pro-Birth

This is absolutely wrong, as any biology text that covers "lifecycle of a primate" will explain to you.

The fetal human being might not have reached the stage of development that your arbitrary and subjective opinion deems a person. But that isn't the same thing. S/he is most definitely a human and a being.
Tom

Does your arbitrary and subjective belief tell you that a blob of cells is "human"?

Because you seem to be on shaky footing here-- the very same language YOU use? Applies to YOU, TOO.

Hmmmmm... by YOUR dubious standards?

A human liver or kidney or even a piece of live skin, is also "human"....!

Interesting. So did those "oddball" atheists believe that their souls (a) begin to exist at conception and/or (b) survive death (i.e. continue to exist somewhere in the Cosmos?

I have no idea. I find it ... odd. When questioned, if you can even get them to speak on the subject, they tend to fall into:

1) nebulous, not thought out at all
2) New Age stuff, often infused with incorrect reference to quantum mechanics
3) something even more odd
4) very religious views, i.e. pick a classical theological description of "soul" and that's what they describe.

I find it confusing, to be an atheist, but to also believe in... magic (soul).

Do you understand that human is both an adjective and a noun?
Or were you as poor are English as biology?

No, it is not wrong.

I suggest you actually look at what PP offers to most rural women.

They do not have the equipment or staff to provide anything but birth control, very basic health screening, and abortions.

Any testing, like mammograms, etc. they refer to other facilities.
And look at all the folk who want to defund the basic screening and birth control! Abortion services don't get federal funding (by law,) so defunding Planned Parenthood would be defunding the affordable basic health screening and contraception for women whose aim is to lower the rate of abortions!

You don't get to criticize others use of English when you are using it like that.
Using what like what?

I try to stick to the term "human being" when that's what I mean.
I learned long ago how prone to semantic arguments and quibbles Pro-feticide people tend to be.
Their logic and scientific knowledge fail miserably, so they go for the semantic BS.

Also strawman arguments, but that's a different post.

You don´t believe in the concept of self defense ?

Sure I do. Taking out the neighbours before they get a chance at holding a loud party is a somewhat interesting version of 'self defence' though.

I'm hearing that a nation can impose 'acceptable' civilian losses in the name of self defence, bit a woman can't abort a zygot in the name of self autonomy, but by all means, tell me what I'm misunderstanding.

You are misunderstanding, probably on purpose, my position.

I legally support abortion in the first trimester. Long after the zygote period.

You really don think abortion services of PP get federal funding ? Well, they are one big bucket that the money goes into, and they move that money around within that bucket as they choose.

What they don´t spend here, they can spend there.

I think pro-life very much means Anti-women's rights.

The percentage of pro-choice women is very close to the percentage of pro-choice men. When I think of my wife and daughters, I would say they are more passionately pro-life than I am. And I am pro-life. They have given birth and their motherly instincts revolt at abortion. I'm not quite as emotionally attached to the issue, having never been pregnant. I see no correlation whatsover between pro-life and anti-women's rights. People who believe there is a correlation have surprisingly little understanding of the pro-life position.

I am sure that the house slave was much more pro-slavery than the field slave. What is this supposed to prove besides that your wife and daughters drank the patriarchal kool-aid and want to be good little submissive wives who serve male masters. Because it doesn't impress me.

Well thanks for insulting my wife and daughters whom you do not know. Good form.

Look at your religion, bud; you people aren't exactly known for your pro-feminist stance in fact you are known for the opposite and people like Jim Jefferies who enslave women aren't exactly helping the public image
