Pro-Life by most really mean Pro-Birth

I don't want to take your money like that because the opinions about this subject are widely diverse. I know atheists who are deadset against abortion they tend to be misogynists but they are deadset against it

Whoa! Guess I need to hang around more atheists, then. Or maybe not ... You should have taken the bet. Time to see my proctologist.

Corporate personhood goes back centuries.
But liberals & their media have fostered the misunderstanding
that corporate personhood is something new & evil. Note also
that liberals take advantage of this too. Did you know that the
DNC is a corporation? Their objections are based upon the
donations not favoring their side.....& the need to continually
demonize for-profit corporations.
I actually did not know that. Thanks.

Hate to break it to you but not all atheists are liberal left-wing Hollywood feminist Satanists who eat babies, some are very patriarchal and conservative.

The dhamma do not speak of rape directly as far i know, so that part i can not say to much about. But the precepts do say. One should not kill.
As i stated in a earlier answer. Og mother can die raring pregnancy i do understand their choice of abortion
Rape certainly harms a person. Harming a person is against the dhamma. I feel quite strongly about this.

And now I am bowing out, this is an
emotional topic for me.
It is an emotional topic for just about everyone. It is emotional for me because I believe in a woman's body autonomy and I have witness first hand when a woman's autonomy was taken away from her.

Why would I take you as the arbitrator of which human being qualifies as having personhood and which human being does not?

You rather remind me of the 19th century US slavers who didn't think that black human beings qualified for personhood. Or natives.

"Personhood" is such a subjective term that people often use it to justify killing human beings that they don't find convenient for their ideology.

Tom
Slave owners also force bred black slave women (often soon after puberty) like chattel until they lost their ability to give birth anymore.

Says the person who is using emotionalism as an argument
Our friend isn't even making an argument.
He's just being provocative.
You'll notice many on RF will seek to demonize
someone or something by somehow linking
them with slavery, Nazis, or evolution.
(Note: Not saying those things are equivalent.
But they're tools of the trickster's trade.)

I'm pretty well convinced that what the whole "pro-life" movement is really all about is resenting other p9eople, especially women, for having sex 'without permission', and then not wanting to pay (suffer) the 'just consequence' of their defiance. I think it's really about making those hussies pay for their sex-sin.
Or it could just be that we think abortion is bad.

The politicians are getting closer to the Death Penalty for abortion providers and some states have jail time on the books for the woman getting the abortion.

Fake news

Cite your claim if you wish to keep it.

My surprise at what you told me was NOT over the existence of atheists and certainly NOT over the existence of atheist misogynists. (cf. Will Misogyny Bring Down The Atheist Movement?). My surprise was over your claim that are a sufficient number of atheist mysogynists who are pro-lifers to force me to revise my previous prediction: i.e.:
  • that almost 100% of the folks who do not believe anything a human has, other than external possessions and decaying body parts, continues to exist will be a pro-choicer,
  • that you will encounter some, but very few, "outliers", i.e. (a) pro-choicers, such as myself, who believe that human embryos have souls, and (b) pro-lifers who believe that human embryos do not have souls.
Now I'm almost intrigued enough by your claim that I'm tempted to attend a TAM and survey the crowd to see how many pro-lifers there among the heathen. :D

You mean, womens right to choose to kill an unborn child.

Frankly, I can´t find anywhere in the Constitution where this general kill order is found.

Perhaps you can tell me where in the noble document it is located.

So you're an anti-death penalty pacifist who wants to tear down the industro-military complex, I guess?
