Why do science hide the truth?

It's not that so much that science always hide truth.
It's because science can only go back so far. Then what ?

Nothing. Literally nothing. There was no 'then'.

Let's take the big bang theory for example of scientist.
So what happened for this big bang to happen.
Scientists will say two planets or meteorites collided.
Ok so where did these planets and meteorites come from.

No competent scientists has said this. It certainly isn't the standard scientific description of the Big Bang.

No.. The Egyptians knew that the Pyramids were too tempting to grave robbers so most were buried in the Valley of the Kings.
The Pyramids at Giza were built during iirc, the 4th dynasty. Valley of the Kings was used by the 18th, 19th and 20th dynasties. Styles and traditions change over 3000 years. There is no reason to think the early dynasty pyramids were not used as tombs. TGPOG has a very obvious sarcophagus in it's central chamber, and had an active funerary cult and temple until well into the Roman period.

It really shows, how it really bothers you knowing that scientist are limited in their understanding of and knowledge how things were all those trillions and trillions and trillions of years ago.

Unto which the bible/ scriptures for tells what happened all those years ago
Oh yes? And what DOES the Bible tell us happened "all those trillions and trillions and trillions of years ago"?

Science is neither about establishing "truth." nor speculation, possibilities, not likelihood.
Science very much is about establishing possibilities and likelihood. What people fail to understand is that something being possible doesn't make it likely, and something being probable doesn't make it fact.

Yes. Maybe. It is hard to say what motivates people to gravitate to ideas like this. Certainly those are pretty good possibilities and I think they are spot on for some.

I had to look him up. I was more familiar with his works than with him. I am familiar with "Chariots of the Gods", but did not have the author committed to memory. This was big when I was a child. I think we may have had a paperback copy lying around the house then too.

I understand that some people believe this, but it is another thing to claim it is a fact. It is a riot to do that with a straight face while claiming there is no evidence to support why you believe it is a fact. Another paradox that fascinates me. He must have made a lot of money off this scheme. A Google search says that he is worth $30 million dollars. It is good to know that belief in aliens does not impede ones ability to earn a living otherwise poor Erich would have had to find another way to make his fortunes.

I prefer David Brin, Larry Niven and Robert Heinlein. At least they were honest that there work is fiction.
Heinlein also has cool bits about armoured space marines, and Larry Niven pretty much invented relatable non-humanoid aliens. And zero G sex.

Why do you think there *was* a 'trillions and trillions of years ago' to explain?

As that's the whole point, Only God knows what it was like trillions and trillions and trillions of years ago, But however God does allow us to have a glimpse what was happening back during then. Through his word, The bible/scriptures.
