Why do science hide the truth?

So you say.

Just because you can't handle the bible, ho well that's you

As a Christian the bible is all the evidence that i need.

Yes, we know that. That doesn't change the facts that...

It's not good evidence.
It's not plausible evidence.
It is self-contradictory.
It contains stories that are easily dismissed by facts.
It makes much use of first-person testimony where it is obvious that information could not have been obtained directly by the writer.

Actually, why someone would put any credence into something like the bible is not really a mystery at all. The answer is: Indoctrination. Usually early, severe indoctrination.

ecco:
Shouldn't you be demanding more evidence to validate your belief that your god has existed eternally?
Shouldn't you be asking why he did nothing for 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999% of eternity before creating the universe?
Shouldn't you be asking why he created A&E as he did, knowing they would disobey him?
Shouldn't you be asking why he blamed all sin on A&E when all they did was what he knew they would do?

So many questions affecting your beliefs. And here you are asking questions about a scientific event. Ridiculous.

Actually i don't care, ...

You say you don't care why your god did nothing for most of eternity.
You say you don't care why your god did things like intentionally mess up his creations.
You say you don't care why your god blamed his creations for causing sin when it was your god that did it.

But you want to ask about the Big Bang.

That epitomizes the phrase "Ignorance is bliss".

In the first place, it is an impossibility for all the Universe to be reduced to a Singularity, because there is,just so much space in every Atom. If our earth was reduced until no more space existed, it would still be, at least the size of softball. How would that account for the trillions of heavenly bodies??

Golly, that's just common sense, isn't it!

Just because you say the bible isn't good evidence, doesn't mean it is for others

That only means you have actually no understanding or knowledge what the bible has to say or Confirm's.

Well there you again, showing yourself as having no understanding or knowledge what the bible has to say or Confirm's.

You know actually amazes me, is people condemning something that they have no understanding or knowledge about.

It is not a case of just because we say so. It is because we can demonstrate that the Bible is not reliable. And no, most atheists understand the Bible far better than fundamentalists. They don't have to jump through hoops to explain the Bibles self contradictions. They can read it for what it says, not for what one wants it to say.,

Tell us how you know what the Bible says or "Confirm's". Seriously you may just be projecting your flaws upon others. We can explain how we know that the Bible fails from a fundamentalist perspective. I seriously doubt if you can defend it.
