Is it ok to respect people with a different skin color than you? Only you can decide to be respectful to other humans. Can you be respectful to those who are different than you? You have to answer the question for yourself. Is it okay to respect gay and transgender lifestyles even if you don't support it?
I must agree with @Quintessence above .Is it okay to respect gay and transgender lifestyles even if you don't support it?

It depends on whether the people in question have agreed not to pursue those lifestyles. If they have agreed not to then that is on them, but if they have not then it seems nosy and interfering into their business to bring it to the table. Its like..."What's in your purse?"Is it okay to respect gay and transgender lifestyles even if you don't support it?
Common decency? Or following the man you claim to be a disciple of, who told you to love your neighbour?I don’t know any reason why the lifestyle should be respected.
Do you know a reason why it should be disrespected?I don’t know any reason why the lifestyle should be respected.

One time, although I probably shouldn't have, during a trying day at work, this kid made a nasty slur. So I stopped the class, and pointed out this fact. When a bunch of kids looked at him in the 'Hey, I wonder" kind of way, it was priceless. I never heard another gay slur from him the rest of the year though.Yeah, I been there and done that. Most distasteful.
