Gillette Commercial

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Who even would bother to want women like that?

Judgemental, demanding, has a low opinion of men to begin with, no grip with reality, pushy, and best of all loves to be the victim.

The type of woman men should not start relationships with, and to avoid at all cost.

Nothing but trouble. Always have been always will be.

Gillette razors suck anyways. Might be good for womens legs though. Slick advertising to hone in the target demographic and it isn't Buddy Lee.

I just watched the video, and all I got from it was that it was suggesting that men should strive to be good examples to their kids and to stand up to bullying and the mistreatment of women. How exactly is this "PC/SJW" unless you believe that bullying and mistreating women are somehow an essential part of being a "real man"?
Makes me wonder exactly which men they're talking about.

Like hell most men should ever be made to feel guilty by the likes of those women.

I'm proud to be a man with all the rough edges and make no apologies about it. My old lady loves me and I love her more than life itself , and both of us enjoy rolling our eyes at this screwball generation that can't decide whether they're actually feminine or masculine to meet each other standards.

Impressions of the Gillette commercial....

Play in your own backyard SJW missy. The rest of us men and women are doing fine enough without you.

Again, who the hell are "those women" you keep mentioning?

What does setting a good example as a father and standing up against bullying and sexism have to do with masculinity or femininity? A.) Not being a punk and B.) putting punks in their place seems pretty masculine to me. Why would someone take issue with this unless they were a punk themselves?

Please tell us about this mysterious, nefarious "missy" character so that the rest of us know what the hell you're talking about.

Gosh... if you think that ad was trying to make you feel guilty then that says a great deal about what a pathetic loser you must be.

Those who feel like their masculinity is being threatened by the Gillette commercial are the real snowflakes.
My masculinity isnt threatened whatsoever. It's really not that hard to see who's the Snowflake and who's not. Just called it out like it is.

A random, nonsensical non sequitur isn't much of a call out. If you have a valid point I genuinely want to hear it, but you're not very forthcoming with clarification.

Hope you're not including me under "they". Also, let's not forget who tossed out the "snowflake" pejorative in the first place.
It applies only to those engaging in insults.
And yes, this is wrong when done by the
commercial's critics too.

The ad tells me a great deal of what an insecure snowflake is like sunshine.

What specifically in the ad did you find objectionable? This is the thing that critics of the commercial can't seem to pinpoint. It's not a rhetorical question; I'm genuinely interested in understanding what the tears are about.

Of course.
But lacking a cromulent counter to criticism of the Gillette commercial,
they resort to personal insults hurled at straw stereotypes.
Was there ever a valid criticism of the Gillette commercial with which to begin?

Maybe questioning sincerity vs attempting to capitalize. Hard to see much more to criticize. Do some males engage in sexual harassment, assault, and bullying? Yes. Do other males stand by and do nothing? Yes.
