Degrees of love

It is deep!

Lets try this, too. Suppose you fall in
love with a faker of some sort.

He / she only wants money, leaves
you for dead after they get it.

Or it was AI you were talking to all
those months.

The director of the Met, asked about
forgeries-does it really matter, if nobody
can tell?

To which Dr. Hovind replied-

"Art is love, if it is false, it is not love."

Everything is conditional.
Pass.

We kind of agree, though the distinction between
direct and indirect strikes me as phony and, irresponsible.

I do eat some seafood, but it has to be a responsible/
sustainable harvest and some species I could not
eat regardless

I think there are significant spiritual issues
you are completely missing re what one can
eat with good conscience.

I will say, if you are interested.

If you can help me to enlighten to it then yes ofcourse you can tell me, i am interested in learing more :)

That is ok :) i mean if you have some knowledge i do not have, i would be interested to listen to your knowledge

I know, just kinda teasing you.

I'd not call it "knowldege I have", but it relates
to respect and responsibility.

See if you can work through post 37
first? It is groundwork for the next part.

I am hearing, "I love you more than they do", but I do not believe that love comes in degrees. You either love someone or something or you don't.

Am I way off track again?
In my opinion,
Love is the name of a human emotion and like any emotion it varies in degree's. It is not just on/off. We do as other's have mentioned use the term love for different types of emotions and all of them have degree's.

I do find fault in your efforts to deny, evade acknowledging
or accepting responsibility for yourself.

Pretending a carrot is not alive just because it is
not in the soil?

You do hire people to kill for you, "personally" or not.

By your standard you could buy into a mutual fund that makes
money from human trafficing, arms smuggling or producing
meth, and have no responsibility or tinge of conscience.

You've no part in the displacement ( death ) of the
plants and animals, ie the wildlife, to make room
for row crops?

"As long as I dont know / it was not specifically
for me"?

I have heard of rationalizing, but that would do
as a wiki entry.

I understand you see things bit different then i do, that is normal.
Ofcourse i would never put money in to illigal activities as you mention. That is really morally wrong.
I do not take part in human life whenit comes to farming or animal death. I can not take responsability for those who choose to work with those things, But as you maybe know humans need food. And yes i do eat vegetabiles because Buddha said it was ok to do so. Yes it might give me karma, but that is something every human must live with when on earh, even enlighten beings who are here do need to eat something.

Can i avoide eating? Maybe by learning a technique calde bigu. but that is not a part of buddhist teching.

When we speak on intention it means we do not kill on purpose.
Will living as a humn acumulate karma? YES every day, but we can we can mke it less by trying the best we can. Am i doing wrong? yes probably every day, but i try to fix it.

But where i find your post good is that you make me think if i am one a right track in life, you make me go back to basic teachings and see if i can find fault in my practice. and that is good.

You are part of the group who pay for
others to do for you the things you find
morally unacceptible to do yourself.

Is this somehow not clear to you?

Do i make them take their choice? No i never ask others to do bad things so i can go free. that would be even worse action.
Do i wish i could make every suffering/death dispear in the world? Yes
But unfortunatly i do not posess those abilities, So i can only do my best, and try to become better every day.

Ok, I have said it, shown you many times.

You seem very invested in not taking any
responsibility for your actions.

Actually i take full responsability for every action, speech and thought i do. But i do fail from time to time to do the right action and must learn from it.
But i can not stand guilty for what other choose to do or not to do.

You sure are unwilling to think.
As I said, very invested.

And you sure as hell are guilty of paying
others to do what you consider wrong,
you are up to your armpits in it,

And up to same in denial.
