The word and phrase (the) Nature (of something or someone) meaning the essense of what something is. Its identity or what makes it, he, she, etc who it or that person is. It is described as who that person or thing is apart from material things that is said to be its shell; the body.

So, what is the nature of god?

What is its identity that makes god a spirit and not something else?

That is its function. It is what it does.

But, what specifically is a life source?

What is its nature?
First of all, God is not an "it" He has the image of a man but He is exists in the spiritual dimension. He is separate from His creation, He exists on His own power, He doesn't need anything from anyone, He is above all things and every single created being is under His full authority.

Nobody can do anything unless He permits it, so everything is under His full control, He planned the whole of human history from the begging to it's end. It will all play out exactly as He planned it to, there is nothing new in Gods universe. God is always the same, He never changes anything, He has ordained everything that happens to happen exactly as He ordained it.

He gave you your personality and He gave animals their personality, He gave Angels their's and so on. He is the cause of everything, He created every single speck of dust in the universe. He knows exactly how many hairs each person has on their heads. He knows everything and He can do anything.

We will never be able to fully appreciate everything about God, He is just way too big to fit Him into our puny little minds. All we can do is process little bites at a time, but He is infinitely big so we will never be able to process everything about Him. All we can do is marvel at His majesty as we learn more about Him

I have been instructed to learn as much as I can about other religions, particularly the more popular religions like Islam and Buddhism and Hinduism and Roman Catholicism. Our Pastor instructed us to learn about them them so we would know how to connect with people of those faiths when we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.

If you are serious about learning from others and engaging in a meaningful conversation you need to demonstrate an understanding of another's faith as well as having a degree of respect for them as individuals and their beliefs.

You are not connecting with anyone here as far as I can see.

Here is the problem I have with this.

If you do not know what god is, his nature, then his role and characteristics mean nothing. Its like saying there is a something/someone and it has ten toes, two legs, a brain with neurons. I ask you what it is, and you say (assuming) you dont know.

Maybe you can tell me what it does. Its personality. Its hopes and dreams. That doesnt say anything unless I know what you talk about.

It could be an animal or a human for all I know.

Same with god. What is he? and how can I tell him apart from other gods that share some of the same abstract characteristics as this god does?

Gods Saints have all been commissioned to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. We are the only people who posses the truth, so we never entertain the possibility of embracing another faith or religion.

We always engage in the most meaningful conversation possible, the problem we always encounter when we share the truth is when fallen sinful, totally depraved sinners reject the Gospel because God hasn't given them the gift of faith.

We know that only Gods chosen people will believe the Gospel, the rest are all sealed for hell so we take no offense when people reject our message. We are only seeking to reach Gods chosen people, so we expect lots of rejection but it's all good.

When you find the only truth in the universe, everything else becomes dead so excuse my disinterest in your faith. We know there is only One truth, so everyone else's views and private beliefs pale into insignificance. I have proclaimed the truth to you, so my conscience is clear and your blood won't be on my hands.

The only way you will ever know who God is, will be if He reveals Himself to you as He has to me and all of His other chosen people. Until then He will remain a mystery, which nobody can explain to you.

The greatest privilege and blessing in this life is if God reveals Himself to you, it's not possible to describe the joy and happiness a person feels when they meet God.
There is nothing to compare it to, He won't reveal Himself to proud or arrogant people. You must first humble yourself and seek Him in prayer through His Son Jesus.

Ifyou truly seek Him, you will find Him. If your seeking Him for the wrong reason, He will leave you in your fallen sate of dark sinful depravity. He will never turn anyone away if they come before Him through Christ in repentance and faith.

He can see you motive, so if you come with the right motive He will accept you as one of His own children and He will bless you with all the riches of the universe and you will receive eternal life in paradise.

Do you have another way of evangalization? Sounds like something you know by heart.

If he is a mystery and you cant describe him, what exactly are you referring to for anyone to want to know what a god is?

You cannot have relationships with mysteries. A lot of brain hoppin' and calling it a he makes it more off than not knowing what the person should have a relationship with.

That doesnt make sense. If anyone wants to find god, they need to know what they are looking for in order to know its god and not a product of their mind.

How can a mystery do all of this?

What is a god to where what you describe about it makes sense to its nature as a creator?

If I was a Jew just before Christ came, I would follow everything Christ taught. He came to fulfill the law on our behalf so we don't need to anymore, yes following Christ may cost my life but He's worth losing my life for.
But you'd be a Jew before Christ came. All you would know is the Jewish writings. I would assume that would include the Talmud. I'm sure you would be observing the Law the best you can. But, you know, you can't. Knowing yourself, knowing there are certain sins in your life, what would you, as a Jew, expect a just God to do? Would God agree with you that you are doing your best? Or, would have God expected you to repent and never do that sin again? Of course, there is always one more sin. But Jesus hadn't come yet. Jesus hadn't died yet. So what do you do? You, the Jew, aren't perfect.

The whole problem is, you don't have the capacity to receive the truth because you have been deceived and your mind is sealed.

Only God can open your mind to receive the truth, nobody else can do this for you but God will never do that as long as you remain arrogant and hostile towards Him and His people. God doesn't need you for anything, you have nothing to offer God. He has everything He ever wanted, so you are the desperate one who needs Him. You are lost in confusion and you're a slave to Satan and only God can liberate you from bondage. if He doesn't save you then you will spend eternity in hell.

God dealt differently with His chosen people under the old covenant, He judged them on a different basis. They were forgiven and accepted if they tried their best, God knew all of them would fail to meet the requirement perfectly so they were still accepted as they were.

That all changed after Christ finished the work of salvation on the cross, from then on salvation didn't depend on how sinless the believer was or how well they kept the law. Every believer was justified by Christ and His perfect atonement.

This means nothing to me. How does this help your spiritual wellbeing by pointing out what you feel is wrong with another person's spiritual wellbeing?

Please don't think that I'm criticizing you in any way, my comments apply to everyone. We are all in the same boat, I'm no better than anyone else. I'm only stating what Jesus said, when He announced that He has come into the world to save the elect of God.

The elect of God are those people who God chose to save before He created the world. God knows all things and He ordains all things, He causes everything that happens in the universe to work towards fulfilling His preordained will. So nothing happens in the universe, that is outside of His will and control.

God created us in His own image, so we know that God looks like a man. He saw the future and He saw that mankind would fall into sin and that sin would separate us from Him, He will not tolerate sin in his presence so we were separated when our ancestors Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God when He commanded them not to eat of a particular tree.

God knew that when we ate of that tree that we would be defiled and we would die spiritually. So we have all been born spiritually dead since Adam and Eve, as people who were born into this condition we have no power to make ourselves spiritually alive. Only God can do this for us, if He chooses to do it, He has chosen to save billions of people and He has also chosen to leave billions of others in their fallen, sinful and spiritually dead state.

The only difference between a saved person and an unsaved person is God chose to save one and leave the other in their fallen state, so I'm not saying I'm any better than you in any way. The only difference is I know that God has chosen to save me, I don't know if you are one of those He has elected to save or not.

Some people find out that they are saved while they are young and some when they are older, but you may be converted at anytime. Only God knows when a person is converted, I lived a very sinful life before God converted me at the age of 31. I never would have chosen to believe in Jesus Christ if God didn't draw me to Himself, as I was dead in my sins and trespasses.

I am the only one in my family who God converted, the rest of my family are still living in deception. They are all Roman Catholics, they trust in their good works for their salvation and I trust in the finished work of Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins and salvation.

True Christianity is unique, it's the only faith in the world which doesn't teach salvation by works. Every other religion and faith all teach that you must do certain things to be made acceptable to God. Jesus simply said that He would save every single person who believes in Him, He didn't add any demands or works to His free offer of salvation.

Christ freely offered eternal paradise to all those who believe in Him, the Romans were murdering Christians for 3 centuries until they realized that they would never stop the spread of Christianity so they incorporated Christianity into their own Pagan religion and called it Roman Catholicism. They made it illegal to own a Bible, so they could change the teaching and add their own perverted meaning to the Word of God.

Roman Catholicism knew it couldn't make any money out of what Christ freely offered, so they changed the message of the Gospel so they could sell salvation. They they still teach that there is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church, they offer forgiveness and absolution for a sinner as long as you pay for them to perform the ritual of the mass.

Anyhow, I' sorry for going off into all of that. I just wanted to assure you that if you are one of Gods elect, you will eventually come to know God personally but if you are not than you will know His wrath after this life is over. I would be more than happy to pray for you, if you just let me know your name cheers :)

Thanks. Im (we're) aware of gods teachings. Have you supported someone else of other faith before? Support as in referring to Their religion to help them because they know what's best for their own wellbeing?

I disagree with the consequences of those who aren't the elect. I'd never believe in religions that have any form of you vs. them. So, like many of us know the bible and it means nothing to us.

If we needed help, would you help us by referring to our faith because we know whats best for us regardless of your religious views?

There is only one truth and everything else is lies, I can only point you and everyone else to the truth but I can't make you accept it. As I said, only Gods elect will ever believe the truth. The rest are non believers, they will never believe the truth because it has not been given to them.

I tried to share the fact that the truth is scoffed at by non believers, they mock true believers and call us foolish for believing the truth. The things of Go are foolishness to non believers, they cannot understand why someone would give up their lives and will and turn them over to the care of God. Non believers are their own masters, they don't live as prisoners of Christ.

Us believers have surrendered our lives to Christ, He is the Lord of our lives and our master. We no longer have a free will, we can only do what he commands and allows. We have been commanded to follow Him no matter what the cost is, even if it costs us our very lives. A non believer would say it's foolish to lose your life for the sake of Christ, they say things like "you only live once so enjoy it to the full".

As believers we live to glorify Christ in everything we do, He is our highest priority in all things. We put Him before our family, career, spouse or anyone else. Everything we do is to bring Christ the greatest honor and glory, so we live for Him and put our own desires last.

You can always tell who the true believers are, by the way they live their lives. True believers are like Christ, they according to His teaching and commandments. To follow Christ, means you pick up your cross and follow Him. We are hated by the whole world, Christ warned us that we would be the most hated people in the world. He said "remember they hated Me so much that they crucified me, so they will also hate you and many of you will be killed for following Me".

All of Christs disciples were executed except for one John, who wrote the last book of the Bible known as the "Revelation of Jesus Christ". Jesus told John to write down exactly how this world would end. He said He would return to judge the whole world, on a day called "judgement day" when every person who has ever lived will be reunited with their bodies and come to life to stand before Christ to be judged.

On that day Christ will cast Satan and His Demons and all the unbelievers into the lake of fire, where they will all be tormented in the flames of hell for all eternity and all the believers will enter into eternal paradise to live in beauty and joy forever.

You only have the opportunity to repent and be saved during this life, but the second this life ends you will wake up on judgement day to be judged so please don't procrastinate. Please repent and turn from your sins and ask Christ to save you and be the Lord of your life, He has a much better plan for your life than you could ever imagine. All you need to do is put your foolish pride aside and surrender to Him, he is waiting to receive you and love you and shower you with all the treasures of the universe and unimaginable joy and happiness forever.

Now I've got a similar question. The true message of Jesus got lost or distorted or something. But, it wasn't good. People were illiterate, so they couldn't read the Bible. Or, they weren't allowed to read the Bible. So we had the new covenant in effect, but people didn't know about it. People that thought and assumed they were believing in Jesus. Along comes the Inquisition, I don't know what God is supposed to do? You have "Christians" torturing Jews to get them to convert to a Christianity. So you have a Jew that remains faithful to his Jewish beliefs, which are wrong, because it is the old covenant. And then you have a Jew that converts under torture to a Christianity that isn't teaching the things of the Bible. Who is better off? They are both in religions that aren't the real truth. And, where in those times was the truth? Did any secret Christian sect have the salvation story right?

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.
First of all, God is not an "it" He has the image of a man
Seriouly? You think God has male genitalia? For what purpose, since he doesn't die and therefore has no need to procreate little baby gods?

Mankind being made in the image of God means we bear the abstract characteristic, such as free will and moral sentience.

God transcends gender.

Satan and His Demons teach that there are many truths, but Christ said "I am the truth" He didn't say I'm one of the truths He said that He is the only way to God. He didn't say I'm one of the ways. He said He wouldn't tolerate other gods, He said He would cast all the other gods and their followers into the lake of fire.

So you either believe in Christ (the only Truth) or you don't. Christ said that the only reason anyone will be cast into hell is because they didn't believe in Him. He will forgive any sin, such as mass murder, rape, war criminals such as Hitler and Stalin if they believe in Him but He will not forgive a single unbeliever so they will all be cast into hell where they will be tormented day and night forever.

I can't understand why any sane person would choose hell over eternal paradise, the only possible reason is they have been deceived by Satan and His Demons. No sane rational person would choose such a horrific place to spend eternity, I'm trying to warn and help everyone but the enemy (Satan) is very powerful and deceptive. He has managed to deceive some very intelligent people in history and He continues to deceive to this day.

Either Christ is a liar or there is only one truth, so we have to decide who we are going to believe. Christ is God, He created you and every other speck of dust in the universe. If you don't believe in the One who created all things and controls everything and has unlimited power, then I feel sorry for you.

There are and have always been only two kinds of people, believers and unbelievers. You can't sir on the fence when it comes to Christ He is either your Lord or Judge, most people have the wrong idea about who Christ is. Most believe that He is love but they forget that He hates just as much as He loves. His love is very deep and so is His hatred, we can't begin to understand how deep His hatred of sinners is. To cast someone into hell where the fire is as hot as molten lava to be tormented there forever in unimaginable to us but we are dealing with God, He is different from us in every way, His ways are infinitely higher than ours.

Every single person who ever lived will be resurrected on judgement day and every single person will bow down and beg for mercy but He will show no mercy, He will cast every single unbeliever into the lake of fire.

Ha. So thats a No???

Satan and His Demons teach that there are many truths, but Christ said "I am the truth" He didn't say I'm one of the truths He said that He is the only way to God. He didn't say I'm one of the ways. He said He wouldn't tolerate other gods, He said He would cast all the other gods and their followers into the lake of fire.

The Dharma is The Truth. Until you understand Dharma you will be reborn and until you understand life and death, generosity, compassion, and your attachments, you will continue to be reborn. Dont worry. Its not forever. Though The Buddha went through I think thousands of rebirths until he died.

The Dharma mentions since you go through rebirth, you will eventually relieve your attachments (say to god since it is keeping you from helping and talking to others in light of their wellbeing not just your own; ego)

Hitler and stalin are going through rebirth too. They are probably here now we just dont know it. Nice, huh?

I can't understand why any sane person would choose hell over eternal paradise, the only possible reason is they have been deceived by Satan and His Demons. No sane rational person would choose such a horrific place to spend eternity, I'm trying to warn and help everyone but the enemy (Satan) is very powerful and deceptive. He has managed to deceive some very intelligent people in history and He continues to deceive to this day.

Cause hell and satan does not exist. The idea they choose hell is in your head. At least thats what The Dharma says. But to understand your mind, you need more compassion and less judging.

Either Christ is a liar or there is only one truth, so we have to decide who we are going to believe. Christ is God, He created you and every other speck of dust in the universe. If you don't believe in the One who created all things and controls everything and has unlimited power, then I feel sorry for you.

Christ as god does not exist. Whether he lied or not doesnt make anything true. I can lie about flying that doesnt make it anymore true than telling the truth that I am not. They are just words. Now if you can proove how my decision benefits or give me consequence, thats better way to help people rather than deciding they are liers for not choosing christ.

The Dharma separates people insofar that our maturity towards Dharma are at different levels of growth. So your maturity would be different than mind and mine different than someone elses. Gradual process unto understanding karma is better because we see all people as divine or as people just growing towards correct Dharma rather than consequenced for something they are training in.

Christ doesnt provide spiritual growth; so, I dont know why youd believe in him when you do not mind others going to hell unless they believe what you do...

unless you have another opinion????

Every single person who ever lived will be resurrected on judgement day and every single person will bow down and beg for mercy but He will show no mercy, He will cast every single unbeliever into the lake of fire.

The Dharma says there is no judgement day. Everything in life recycles. Earth turns. We recycle. Nothing disapears. No one floats into space to the sky and dispear in the clouds to a god of somesort.

You would have to prove it exist in some form or state in order for your post to make any sense.

You also have to converse and read cause otherwise youre just wasting words.
