Title says it all, who are you going to vote for?

And if you want to tell us more details please do so.

(anyone should feel free to comment, discuss and debate in this thread, but only U.S. voters in the poll please)

(I considered including an option in the poll for those who don’t intend to vote, but decided if your not gonna vote then, ya don’t get to vote now :p )

As I'll be in a new state, one that more closely aligns with my views, I've went from not giving one crap about voting this midterm to making sure voter registration and voting are high priorities.

I'll be voting Democrat for Congress, because the Republican majority has passed legislation that's decimated public health insurance and environmental protection, and has behaved in a very un-fiscally conservative way in enacting deep tax cuts without a comparable slash in porkbarrel spending. Also with regard to local district issues: the Democratic candidate in my district is someone who's strong on environmental issues and otherwise a pretty reasonable centrist conservadem type, meanwhile the sitting Republican Congressman has made promotion of fracking his primary issue. It seems like a no-brainer to me.

I intend to vote Republican for Governor, because Andrew Cuomo presides over one of the most corrupt political machines in the country. He compensated by being competent for his first term, but in this recent term he's grown the state government considerably, mostly on the back of tax increases on Upstate farmers. While he's overwhelmingly likely to win it, I don't think he deserves a third term and I think New York could use more fiscal restraint.

I'm not married to a party but I will vote Republican until the Dems offer something more than 'feels'. If it makes you feel any better my area votes Dem nearly 100% of the time so my individual vote rarely matters. For me, it's just the principle of the thing. I'm likely to change parties every election cycle though, just based on what is offered and what has happened during their terms if going for re-election. In the past, I've voted Dem... I thought McCain and the other guy were mentally challenged. (Noting current events, I was right... :D) I voted Trump primarily because every part of my DNA despises Hillary... I'd would have had a thought or two about Bernie, but alas he got screwed out of his chance.

I plant to vote Libertarian, but I'm not ruling out candidates
from other parties if a compelling lesser of 2 or 3 evils arises.

Voting democratic based on middle class policies.
-I'm not a climate denier
-I'm pro-choice when it comes to abortion
-I support unions
-I support the environment
-I support lower taxes for the middle class
-I support raising fed minimum wage
-I support common sense gun laws
-etc

Vagueness becomes you. You'll vote republican at the end of the day. Like most Libertarians
You sure do like to pontificate about things beyond your knowledge.
My advice: Get over the election. She lost. He won.

Ah, another RW talking point that has nothing to do with the overall sentiment. Yawn. We know your history.
Don't expect libertarian candidates to ever win if you don't vote for them..

Do you think the sun will rise tomorrow?

"I probably do, but you never know with the crazy stuff going on in the world. So we'll just have to wait and see!"

You, in a nutshell.
So much attention for me.
You aren't coming on to me, are you?
