Your comment here makes me want to read this book: Table of Contents: Hitler and America But regardless of what Hitler's views on the US were, I'm not sure they pertain to the reason for the name of that train. See the various answers to that question at Quora: https://www.quora.com/How-come-Hitler’s-train-was-named-AmerikaHitler actually believed that there was a good chance that Americans would support him because of our history of slavery, racism, and anti-Semitism.
Yea. The issue as I have expressed is Hitler is an outcome of something old. So I hope people take the post as a point to contemplate time in how that is in human thought and how perceptions form. I won't give a answer then it's not a contemplative its just another explanation.Hitler actually believed that there was a good chance that Americans would support him because of our history of slavery, racism, and anti-Semitism. And there were many Americans who actually leaned in his direction, including the infamous priest Fr. Coughlin who's church is but a short distance away from where I am now. Fortunately, the Vatican silenced him by threatening to defrock him.
Interesting post, btw, as I didn't know about the train.
I have no idea what that post was it was total word salad. I read it and it was complete lala land as far as I could tell. Can you translate it,? It was presented as some random reality just pulled out of thin air.Your comment here makes me want to read this book: Table of Contents: Hitler and America But regardless of what Hitler's views on the US were, I'm not sure they pertain to the reason for the name of that train. You are accusing someone else of posting "word salad"? You funny!I have no idea what that post was it was total word salad. I read it and it was complete lala land as far as I could tell. Can you translate it,? It was presented as some random reality just pulled out of thin air.
Exactly!!!! That's my point. I wasn't saying you I was saying the post you referred to. In fact I love writing word salad intentionally!!! But **** I read what is clearly word salad and it seems clear to people. What is creationism or intelligent design if not just pure random word salad? Real? Because it has structure? I deconstruct intellectual structalism itself and mock it and everyone goes he is mad word salad!!!! Maybe not I mock all intellectual structuralism linguistically as a handy tool and is not reality or its just lost in a book like the idiot Hitler. You are accusing someone else of posting "word salad"? What sentence of mine did you not understand?
That first one is somewhat word salad--or perhaps word casserole. The poster claims the warehouse where Jews' valuables were taken was called "Kanada"--perhaps to try to fool some of the people about what was happening?Exactly!!!! That's my point. So translate the word salad for me of the quorate thingie I can't read it without laughing
That helps me and yea now you are seeing what I see here a lot!!!! You ought to look up soren kierkegaard.. he complained he was so poorly understood that even his complaints were misunderstood. I understand that a lot. Except I don't complain I understand the issue and I play with it.That first one is somewhat word salad--or perhaps word casserole. The poster claims the warehouse where Jews' valuables were taken was called "Kanada"--perhaps to try to fool some of the people about what was happening?
The next poster seems to have the best answer, about the fighting song of Panzer being named Erika, though I don't know why the train would be named after that song, with "Am" attached to it.
Not at all. I am glad to hear about Kierkegaard's complaints. Was there any word salad at all in this post?
Dead on quite often. I appreciate them , except for the fact that you often make us do the proofreading. In my little funny comments are they in fact not many times dead on?
It dates back to Roman occupation of Israel... the history of anti-semitism is quite long in Europe. Hitler picked up a few threads of that as old as the New Testament Canon and new as the Reformation and made them prominent.Yea. The issue as I have expressed is Hitler is an outcome of something old.
Partially not intenional. Lol I will work on that as my phone gets smarter!! If you pay attention closely really I just spin statements onto themselves and tear at reality of assumptions. It can go into Alice in wonderland quickly!!! Like emotions are chemical reactions. Well I say that is a chemical reaction to a chemical reaction what the hell. Further more I can step back and see that what I said was a chemical reaction to chemical reactions. Further more...... Get my point? Not at all. I am glad to hear about Kierkegaard's complaints.

Actually my typos are about as bad as yours, and I'm not using a phone. (But I do type with my nose.)Partially not intenional. Lol I will work on that as my phone gets smarter!!
Ha, I paid attention to that on that thread! If you pay attention closely really I just spin statements onto themselves and tear at reality of assumptions. LOL good. I have shifted a bit and decided pictures work better. So someone says something stupid I will say that makes total sense in this reality.Actually my typos are about as bad as yours, and I'm not using a phone. (But I do type with my nose.)
Ha, I paid attention to that on that thread!
Well I am pointing back a few thousand years earlier to that in regards to view of inferior pre literate we superior literate perceptions in context to hitlers disconnect to reality itself. So yea you are right but it's specific. It dates back to Roman occupation of Israel... the history of anti-semitism is quite long in Europe. Hitler picked up a few threads of that as old as the New Testament Canon and new as the Reformation and made them prominent.
Ha they had the spirit right!!!!!I remember reading about Hitler's train being called "Amerika," which I thought was kind of an oddity.
Of course, not everyone views "America" as the name of a country, but also a continent (actually two continents).
I recall reading about Sherman tanks being sent to Russia during WW2, and while they took the US markings off, there were still the letters "USA" embossed on the tanks. The letters didn't mean anything to the Russians, who use the Cyrillic alphabet. However, once the Russians started moving in to areas which used the Latin alphabet, they came up with the story that the letters meant (roughly) "Ubit' Sukinsyn Adolfa" ("Kill the S.O.B. Adolf").
And eugenics, don't forget eugenics...Hitler actually believed that there was a good chance that Americans would support him because of our history of slavery, racism, and anti-Semitism.
There were quite surely little dictators before any writing system that has survived to our day. Otherwise we wouldn't find megaliths and such.Well I am pointing back a few thousand years earlier to that in regards to view of inferior pre literate we superior literate perceptions in context to hitlers disconnect to reality itself. So yea you are right but it's specific.
