Labour may not have been fiscally conservative but don't act as though the Tories have been. Under Cameron & Osborne the Tories engaged in more public borrowing in five years than Labour did in fifteen. They've more than doubled the national debt to £1.8tn and that pledge by the Tories to eliminate the national deficit keeps getting pushed back again & again.

No it's not. If it were you'd recognise that the Tories have been more fiscally disastrous for the UK economy than Labour were. But I've never seen you admit that. If you have and I'm mistaken then please point it out.

No, the Tories have done something much worse - they're actually arming & funding the Saudi terrorist regime who have been identified as the biggest funder of foreign terrorism on British soil.

I wonder what the sources are for their claims. Let's see...

Revealed from where? What authoritative parliamentary reference work are they citing? The Telegraph can say literally anything and claim it came from 'authoritative parliamentary sources' if it doesn't actually name their sources.

Okay, for the sake of clarity, do you agree that this also makes Thatcher a traitor because she negotiated (i.e. legitimised) with the IRA? Are the Tories under Cameron & May traitors because they're financing & arming the biggest source of Islamic terrorism in the UK (Saudi Arabia)? Was the Thatcher administration a bunch of traitors because they supported loyalist terrorist groups? Is Theresa May a traitor because she bribed a Unionist party supported by the Ulster Defence Association - a proscribed terrorist group?

Do you seriously want the Corbynistas to run the UK?

Buddy with Hamas,IRA,

Okay, let's assume for the sake of argument that this constitutes treason. Do you extend this logic to the Conservative Party because it's buddies with Unionist terrorist groups; the Saudi government (who are the biggest foreign funders of Islamic terrorism in the UK and is committing war crimes in Yemen with British weaponry) and Turkey which quite willingly bombs Kurdish civilians while supporting Islamic State?

would leave this country defenseless if he could,

In what way? As compared to the Tories shrinking the army and not honouring the covenant Cameron made while PM to care for British veterans? How about this more specific example of a Scottish veteran being denied vital NHS treatment in England because he's Scottish? Is that in any way respectful for military veterans?

has no respect for this country.

Can you cite an example of this apparent lack of respect for his country?

That's evading my questions rather than answering them.

It is a pertinent question and only requires a yes or no answer.

You have no ground to stand on calling me out for not answering questions when you avoided answering mine first.

Here they are again for your convenience:

I fail to see why you are refusing to answer a yes no question.

For the record, I have never voted for the Labour Party in my life and would never vote for Corbyn’s Labour Party either.

I was a big fan of Margaret Thatcher. She may have done things that I did not agree with but you cannot have everything that you want. It is all swings and round a bouts. I think it is fair to say that Margaret Thatcher put her country first which is what I would expect a Prime Minister to do.

You should know what I think about Saudi Arabia and Islam by now from my posts in other threads.

It would have been a disaster if that traitor gained power, absolutely useless party that would sink us.

Traitor? Would you make that claim in court? Or is libel par for the course for anti Corbinites?

P.s. brexit is sinking the uk, the pound is as weak now as during the 2008 banking crisis and projected economic growth has been revised back.

May and co are clueless at negotiating a brexit strategy, and the UK is rapidly becoming the laughing stock of Europe under her captaincy.

Unfortunately there are people who don't agree with democracy, the will of the people said we leave the EU and that's what should happen,in the EU we are a sinking ship but outside we might just stay afloat.

Its the same people who have made it like it is,Corbyn Imo is a traitor, take me to court.

You can't in good faith speak of Maduro and his people in the same phrase as Corbyn. They are literally continents apart, in all relevant senses.

You can't in good faith speak of Maduro and his people in the same phrase as Corbyn. They are literally continents apart, in all relevant senses.

They are literally continents apart but they have an inseparable ideology.

The British Labour Party's socialist leader Jeremy Corbyn said on Monday there needed to be dialogue to stop growing violence in Venezuela but stopped short of condemning its President Nicolas Maduro who he has vociferously supported in the past.

Corbyn has been under pressure at home to speak out about the situation in the South American nation amid international criticism of Maduro who once described the British politician as "a great friend of Venezuela".

Some 120 people have been killed during four months of sustained anti-government protests and Maduro has faced global pressure to dismantle a newly created pro-government constituent assembly which has been condemned as a power grab.

"There has to be a dialogue and a process that respects the independence of the judiciary and respects the human rights of all," Corbyn, who has long expressed admiration for Venezuela's socialist regime, told broadcasters.

Asked if he condemned Maduro's actions, he said: "What I condemn is the violence that's been done by any side and all sides in this. Violence is not going to solve the issues."

In 2013 Corbyn called Maduro's predecessor Hugo Chavez an "inspiration to all of us fighting back against austerity and neoliberal economics in Europe" during a rally to mourn Chavez's death.

Maduro in turn described Corbyn in 2014 as "a great friend of Venezuela" when the two spoke live on Venezuelan television following the death of prominent British socialist Tony Benn.

Ok I'm doing this on my mobile so apologies if I miss anything,he's a communist,he's not batting for our team,he's like ken Livingston in a party that leaks more money than the titanic leaked water,he doesn't even respect our war dead, all he can sing is the red flag,we dont have a red flag btw, check out his work at British Leyland as a union rep.

Unions which are political tools,as a young apprentice I and others refused to pay union fees because of block voting,we suffered for it,some violence and abuse but hey I'm still here.

I have no love for the conservatives but they are the best of a bad lot,I voted for them once to get out of the EU,I remember (just) before the EU,we did ok but with corbynski we would never be.

No, they voted against the Tories.

Do you agree with May's attitude to Saudi Arabia? Support for this terror funding, woman hating theocracy?
Do you expect her to condemn Saudi Arabia like you expect Corbyn to condemn Venezuela?
