savagewind,
Here is a point that should be taken into account, when contemplating Jesus' teaching. Jesus was not always sweet and nice to his hearers. Jesus could read people, and when he had tried to teach them several times, he knew that his teaching was not getting through to them, so sometimes he said things that shocked his hearers.
When Jesus said the things he said at Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus was telling them that they were not acceptable to him or his Father.
Jesus also said some shocking things, recorded at John 8, where he said their father was The Devil, John 8:43-45. Also at Matthew 23 where he kept calling his listeners hypocrites, blind guides, and fools. At verse 23:33 Jesus really shook them when he said; you serpents, offspring of vipers, how can you escape the judgement of Gehenna? They understood that Gehenna meant Everlasting death!
Jesus knew when to use shocking speech, we do not, because we cannot read our listeners as Jesus could.
What Jesus said worked, because many of the leaders of the Jews became believers later on, Acts 6:7.
OK. Those other things he said were true. The accounts illustrate that he tells the truth even though telling the truth would make him enemies.

His saying in the end, "get away from me" IS NOT TRUE because in the end there is NOWHERE else to go but with Jesus. That is the whole point of it.

So, the question is this. According to you, WHERE "away" are they to go?

You might say the away place means not with Jesus. Is that right? But, he says it BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT WITH HIM!

I have thought of another way to ask it if I haven't already.

Where is he telling them to depart TO?

From one place (in earshot of Jesus) to another place. What is the other place?

Are the words of Jesus for teaching?
Did he say, "get away from me"?
Did he say where to go away from him?

That is the question.

WHERE?

X (Where Jesus is) to ------------------------> X2 HERE

Where is X2?

Or is he (I mean will he) telling them to die ie self-destruct?

Is he telling them to self-destruct ie go to hell?

See that the Great Teacher may and according to you will tell people to go to hell,
may I?

If I may say that, do you think it is also correct that I may say **** you?

It is amazing to me that you think it is I who would change the Bible or call it wrong.
Ah, but it is YOU who do it by clinging to the changed version.
Whenever you make the words in it mean something that wasn't intended, you have changed it.
How haven't you changed it?

Do you see that you are putting the words, "go to hell" into the mouth of the Prince of Peace?

Now might you consider that it was written, You have done (are doing) your works away from me?

You're not with Jesus. If fact, you even KNOW you're not! How? You say that he is gone!

Think of why it happened that what is not written is this:

At times when they say "Lord, lord!" they confess of him that they do not know him.
All their works they did without him.

I can't be right because I am the only one who thinks so.

And?

The universe was thought by ONE, so? It can't be right!

All you who think God is ONE and God is creator........has to believe that the universe can't be right.

Why? Because only ONE believed it.

OK?

You guys are so, so funny because YOU say the Bible can not be wrong, but the Bible says the WHOLE world in satan lies. Correct?

Whole means that everyone can be wrong. Right?

I understand that you do not WANT everyone to be wrong.
To want something that is not true means you are not with Jesus.

Can you be with Jesus from henceforth? I don't see why not.

Or, I do. YOU trust that Jesus has to say get away from him to someone.
Why not let that someone BE YOU?

Everyone except for YOU, right?
By your believing the Bible IS God's word is you professing YOU are right.
I'm not doing that! So, no. I am not right about everything. Now think, if you can. YOU believe you are right about every word there. I am not saying that each one who believes in the written word also believes they are right about every interpretation. I am just saying that you think you are right about every WORD.

Think about it! Just what you are accusing me of doing YOU ARE DOING.

Oh, by the way, I sure hope for your sakes that you trust that I am OK doing it, even if I am not doing it. You are.
