Do you want to debate the Bible, djhwoodwerks?

@djhwoodwerks I understand you are preaching complete trust in the Bible (which is also a Jehovah's Witness teaching) or trust in nothing.
Do you think it is not a possibility that someone might trust in The Word itself?

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

If I am understanding you correct, yes, I see it is about all time, not only the end time, like they preach it.

~:> indeed
as they say
~;> how someone who is a flesh could kill a spirit
and
god is a spirit and good and always true
and
the evil one (do you have any idea
what or who is this evil one)
used to disregard all this things which comes from
what is good and cannot lie

. ... just askin
if we may say so ... .

I have ideas. The first in line is FEAR. To fear is the evil one.
Doubt might be it.
Come to think of it, fear can't be it because to fear God is the right way to believe according to God's words.
But to fear man or what man does instead of fearing God is what evil is.

After Eve disobeyed God she knew fear. When Adam disobeyed God he knew the fear of disobedience later. Believe me, it isn't something to be afraid of.
Doubt is worse imo. Fear and doubt are related. I fear I can't do it is almost the same as I doubt I can do it.

Revelation 6:2 @djhwoodwerks who do you think is the rider depicted there? Is it Jesus, according to you and the Jehovah's Witnesses? If it isn't Jesus, then who?

The white horse rider in Revelation 6 is the antichrist, the white horse rider in Revelation 19 is Jesus. The first white horse rider has 'one' crown and a bow, the second white horse rider has many crowns, a sword and a rod of iron.

Does it mean anything to you that they both are pictured on a white horse? Are the two white horses related in any way?

I'm not "preaching" anything, I'm just conveying what I believe.

I believe the Bible. I believe the Bible is the perfect, infallible Words that God wanted us to have.

I don't believe that a perfect God, Who wants us to have perfect knowledge, would allow His Words to be tampered with and then say, 'I didn't say that, oh well, I'll just fix it later, if they ask me to'.

Just know that I believe that view is childish. It is as though you believe the words can save you.

Matthew 28:20 If he is with you, why not listen to HIM?

It is written they belong to us now.

~;> as it is written
:read:
Matthew 12:43
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.

by the way
it is translated unclean thats why some people thought that being unclean to their false leaders is somekind of being evil
but that is wrong
some leaders were putting an idea that those people who were possessed by evil spirits were also unclean
just like what they did to mary magdalene
one of many disciples of christjesus

some were confused about this
coz those some people were pertaining unto spirits and made them as also humans but
very different from what
god the father
did to his only begotten son
when god the father prepared a
human body for his
only begotten son christjesus

also one of our fellows accidently touch the raibow picture beneath the writtings of your post and it is unintentional
so pardon us coz we undo it

There is an advantage that some words are being taught wrong. If you can see that they are wrong, you will not go with them who believe wrong words are right words.

Isaiah 5:20 Matthew 6:23 Matthew 15:14

Another thought @djhwoodwerks if I may.

Your believing that the Bible has been preserved for your advantage is also believing it is the writer's responsibility to cause YOUR salvation.

I am aware that my salvation is my responsibility.

~;> compared this verses unto one another
so as it is written

Amos 2:15
Neither shall he stand that handles the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rides the horse deliver himself.

and this verse
as it is written
:read:
oopppss
we got a better idea
and that is
perhap you should search the right words coz we have a funny feeling that your just applying your false learders teachings unto the scriptures

~;> the first thing that human feared in this reality is death
as if you could notice how eve is being feared of death if she is going to eat from the fruit of the tree of good and evil

Genesis 3:2
And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

meaning eve knew something of this so called death before even she ate that fruit
but
she never knew anything about
the evil one during that time and
only learned somethin about this evil one after she ate unto the said fruit of the tree of good and evil

. ... just for a thought
if we may say so ... .

by the way
perhaps we (me and my brethrens and my fellows should hold on to
our popcorns with an added butter and cold drinks while we put this 3D glasses on our eyes so that we may wait for those traffics to be clear off first on this debate thread of yours

I don't believe that a perfect God, Who wants us to have perfect knowledge, .
I agree God is perfect. Can you convince anyone that what God wants is for "us to have perfect knowledge"? It seems to me that would counter this: Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that "We all possess knowledge." But knowledge puffs up while love builds up. (1 Corinthians 8:1)

God's will is that all men be saved and to knowledge of the truth to come. Jesus said he is the truth. Isn't it God's will that all recognize Jesus is savior of the World? John 3:17

I know doubt is something that acts upon a person. Matthew 14:22-31
......"Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus; But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" ; Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"

Some people say that disciples of Jesus can not rightly heal another person. Why? He said we would do works greater than he.
It is very sad that some people might doubt WHO should be healed and how. They might be afraid of doing anything against the will of Jehovah.
