The "F word" for those who hate the word "feminist"

My statement is not about feminists at all. It's feminism that is egalitarian.
I see that feminism is different things to different feminists. I notice that they have
arguments among themselves, eg, affirmative action, pornography, prostitution.
It is not a monolithic culture or uniform philosophy to be defined by a single person.
If feminism were the same as egalitarianism, I wouldn't expect to see so much fur flying
by feminists objecting to the term "egalitarian", & towards those who prefer this label.

You know how you were saying that sometimes folks from opposite sides of a debate could/should hug?
Well, grab a hold of this News. Yesterday I mentioned that the Brit Gov is gonna train all Gov employees to identify females at risk from FGM. Yes?
Well....... this morning that has developed somewhat.
BBC Teletext News reports that the Government has escalated their initiative by proposing to end FGM within one generation, to legislate to prosecute parents who allow or attempt FGM, and to investigate the whole morbid practice. There are believed to be 170,000 females in Britistan who have been mutilated in this way.
Further to this, our Government is promising to look-at-ways to end Forced Marriages in Britistan, which therefore has to focus upon Honour attacks and murders much more closely.
The Gov has only promised a small fund to start (£1.4m)..... but a start is a start.
Sometimes different factions click together, and I reckon that this is an example. The Gov faces a difficult election = Bravo for democratic process,. Midwives tend to have a higher % of feminist interest (yes they do) and I'll bet that their reports are clicking and connecting somewhere, and the whole initiative is lifting off...... yesterday was 'training' and today is 'let's do it'.
Now...... there is a shake hands, hug situation for our Gov Gurus, Feminism, Midwives..... everybody. I surely hope that something good and great comes out of this..... and sooner than one generation.
All this... just for a heads up.....

Ideally, feminism is a subset of egalitarianism. In practice, the label "feminism," like many labels, ends up representing a whole host of varying views and agendas, and ends up picking up such huge amounts of semantical and ideological baggage, that it eventually becomes unproductive in its role as an effective label.
For the same reason, I don't generally refer to myself as an "atheist" in real life, since that is another label that is so loaded with baggage and differing interpretations as to be an ineffective label. Besides, "rationalist" is a more accurate and inclusive label for what I am, just like "egalitarian."
I'm not sure how "egalitarian" has become a dirty word. I can only chalk it up to people's ignorance of its meaning.

But it would be problematic to link or quote them, since that would identify
specific posters, & make this discussion overly personal. Those posters able
to see them as such will already be aware. But some will never admit it,
which defeats the purpose of examples.
You should appreciate my diplomacy, rather than being abusive.

And how is that anti-egalitarian? You said that some feminist posted anti-egalitarian statements in this thread and I want to see one.
To be fair, I don't think Rev opposes gender equality. What I see is that he opposes what he perceives to be problematic aspects within feminism, but not egalitarianism. I don't think it's fair to label him a misogynist just because of that.
It exemplifies your (& others') continually abusive style towards those who aren't of
the "feminist" brand, especially towards males. You've major anger issues to work out
towards MRAs, geeks, egalitarians, libertarians & others.
To quote the great Buckaroo Banzai, "We don't have to be mean.".
